United Airlines flight makes emergency landing after dropping debris | Daily Mail Online
"A United Airlines flight has made an emergency landing after suffering major damage to one of its engines and dropping huge pieces of debris over a neighborhood in Colorado.
Flight UA328 suffered serious engine failure shortly after takeoff from Denver, the FAA said.
The Boeing 777-200, which was scheduled to fly to Honolulu in Hawaii, diverted back to Denver and landed safely."
"No injuries on the ground or in the plane were reported.
Police are working to locate all the debris, and urged people not to move any wreckage they found, pending the arrival of officials from the National Transportation Safety Board."
Thanks for the posts, @Jersey girl and @MajorHoople!
Can you imagine that!?
Angels must have been on that aircraft...
I can't imagine having the ability to catch this on my camera while in the plane!
It looks like the stars were aligned pretty bad for Boeing yesterday and they had a rough day...
This too happened in the Netherlands yesterday with a Boeing 747 cargo plane:

I didn't hear that! That's interesting
WTH? I hadn’t heard about this one either! My Lord, as if Boeing doesn’t have enough problems already.
And nobody on the ground was hurt. That’s amazing.
