FYI: I typed Part I of the interview between Cobra and Misty Saunders because some parts on the tape were difficult to hear.
Tuesday, March 31/09 , Cobras Wayne Staubs Interview with Misty Sanders, Mrs. Sanders daughter & former girlfriend of Daniel Snodgrass
Misty Saunders requested an interview with Cobra and agreed to have their conversation recorded.
Misty is concerned about a green and white shed that sits on 1/4 properties. She has the power of attorney of these sheds and is legally authorized to go into these sheds. Cobra told Ms. Sanders he would be glad to accompany her to these sheds. Cobra asked her to explain why these sheds are of some importance to her.
Misty Saunders stated her mother came to after being comatized February 21st and 22nd of this year and the only thing her mother could talk about was seeing dismembered body parts placed in sheds and items at her property. Mistys mother said she had to go into the other room while the child was being killed because she couldnt fathom to see or hear what was being done. (I couldnt hear exactly what MS said after this but something like. and after this Im left clueless.
Now let me back something up, this little girl HaLeigh came up missing around the first part of February, 10 days before your mother was admitted to hospital, and your mother went crazy after that and up until that time, your mother was pretty cool. Had Mr. Snodgrass had any contact with her during those 10 days?
Daniel Snodgrass is monitored for his ankle bracelet and I did notice him when I left earlier than usual than my normal schedule that his truck was down there earlier at 6 am and he does not stay up there with my mother and he was there a few days within the timeframe which was out of his ordinary.
Would you allow me, if need be, to search the grounds to see if there was anything on the grounds? Have you looked in the house and everything? I have looked in the house. Police have not searched the grounds. To my knowledge my sister-in-law called Crime Stoppers because of the way my mother was talking when she woke up. She was witness to this hearing and I do believe I have parts of my conversation with my sister recorded on my phone. Cobra asked her why she didnt call LE and she said because of her previous experiences with LE and Cobra stated when he went to arrest DS, LE didnt want him arrested because they dont want to be sued by this guy and the arresting officer said they dont want to jeopardize their pending case against him. Cobra didnt see it the same way and was nervous about conducting the interview. Misty nor her brothers live on this property.
The neighbor right here in Orange Grove that lives behind Mistys mother talked with DS who said he was shortly going to be moving in with her mother and her brothers and her havent been to her mothers place so DS had been talking to the neighbors and when Mistys mother went into the hospital (this part of the tape is unclear) who is an alcoholic and was given a blood test at the hospital, her alcohol level on a scale of 1/10 scale was less than 1. Because her mother is a known alcoholic, the hospital treated her for alcoholism and found no alcohol in her system; so there had to be something else in her blood and only a recreational drug test was conducted, thats it. Her daughter spoke up and said her mother had something far worse in her system. DS has been featured on 20/20 for killing a person and getting away with it and she said she knows horrendous things about this guy which are unbelievable. She said her and her sons, a man and his daughters, accompanied Dan and her mother to the circus less than one month before all this mess went down and she told him right then and there this is where he was going to mess up and she had tried for years to get him to get help. Her mother who is currently 56 years of age has been having seizures for the last 5 years and had no history of seizures until she hooked up with DS. Check his ex-wife out, same deal. The doctors said her mother is crazy but she is not, she is autistic. Cobra has talked to this woman and received some very scary information that he doesnt want to share with her because it made him sick, but the material is of a similar nature. Until Daniel was arrested by LE, she had no knowledge he photographed her 11 year old niece while she was cleaning his house who was dressed in a shirt and shorts and she was very upset when she learned of this incident and that her niece went over to Daniels house unaccompanied by her mother. Since HaLeigh came up missing, DS has removed 1 of 3 sheds from the property and he wants the other 2. Misty S. doesnt know what is in them and has never been in them. At the time that HaLeigh went missing, the week prior to her mom being hospitalized on the 20nd of February 2009 was when Misty learned about DS abnormal visits on her mothers property. Through the day he never came over here, my mom always went to his house. No one is living in her mothers house so they can drive over there. Misty Sanders stated she has keys to the gate. Cobra asked if she knows whether Misty Cummings knows Dan and she said personally she has never seen them together but LE has hundreds of pictures of them together and Dan runs an escort service and took one of the girls out west. Misty Sanders was asked to ID her mom in pictures LE retrieved from DS house and hundreds of these photos included risqué pictures of Misty Croslin.
