CT - Jennifer Dulos, 50, New Canaan, Media, Maps, Timeline, *NO DISCUSSION*

STAMFORD —The newly hired attorney for Michelle Troconis is seeking to have judge remove many of the restrictions of her release on bond including required drug testing, electronic monitoring and house arrest, according to court papers filed Wednesday.
The documents reveal a look at the 45-year-old Troconis' life after being
accused of conspiring with Fotis Dulos to kill his estranged wife, Jennifer Dulos, who was last seen May 24 and is presumed dead.
The conditions of her release on a total of $2.1 million bond are now "unconstitutional, excessive and unrelated to any legitimate purpose that permits court-ordered non-financial conditions of release," Attorney Jon Schoenhorn who was hired by Troconis this week said in the documents.
Schoenhorn also contends that Troconis was illegally held overnight after being charged with conspiracy to commit murder in the disappearance and death of Jennifer Dulos because she was precluded from posting bond until after her arraignment on Jan. 9.

Troconis is required to submit to periodic drug testing, even though she has no history of drug use, Schoenhorn said.
"There was no reasonable basis to believe, nor was any information provided at any time, to suggest that Michelle Troconis is or was drug-dependent," the attorney said. "The court's imposition of mandatory drug testing as a condition of release is, therefore, unsupported, unreasonably punitive, and serves no other purpose besides humiliation and punishment...”

Fotis Dulos, the US man accused of killing his estranged wife Jennifer Farber Dulos, was confirmed dead on Thursday after an apparent suicide attempt two days before. But that won't stop Fotis Dulos' attorney from insisting he was innocent.

To do that, Dulos' attorney, Norm Pattis, has asked the state to proceed with the criminal case against a defendant who is no longer alive.
The defendant is dead but his attorney still wants a trial to go ahead

I guess NP knows there are still $$ to be siphoned from the hidden funds...

An aside: he looks like a guy who leaves a slug slime trail.

PD just left the Dulos estate at 4 Jefferson Crossing after being called at about 1:30 for a report of a moving van in the driveway. Rena Dulos and Anna Curry have to be out by Friday. PD May have just been making sure nothing was taken from the home per court order.

Seems to be PD were meditating what Dulos family was taking from the home after temporary conservator issued rules that no items could be removed. Meanwhile...ongoing legal battle between Dulos/Farber estates over who should have control of protecting the property.

Some updates from Jefferson crossing...two moving vans spotted leaving at about 3:30 from Iraklis Packing, Shipping & Moving Co, Ausoria NY.
we captured video of woman talking to PD believed to be Rena Dulos.

Schoenhorn filed a discovery motion to obtain all of the state’s evidence against his client. NBC Connecticut asked him about speculation made by Fotis Dulos’s defense team that Jennifer Dulos may still be alive.

“To be honest with you I have no idea,” said Schoenhorn. He pointed to the fact that he hasn’t read the warrant or received evidence from the state. “I have requested any evidence that suggests that either she has not passed away or may have taken her own life.”

Interesting note regarding Michelle Troconis using an interpreter today for the first time. About halfway through the hearing, she appears to have one of the headphones out/not on her ear, suggesting she’s listening to her attorney speak English with that ear. @News12CT

Judge in Dulos divorce case proposes new laws regarding child custody disputes

2/19/2020

The judge who oversaw the bitter Dulos divorce case, which she recently dismissed after Fotis Dulos’ death, asked a judicial rules committee Monday to amend the statutes regarding the use of child custody experts to streamline the process and make it more transparent.
[..]
Among the changes Judge Donna Heller suggests are: a court order specifying the amount an expert is to be paid and how that cost will be split; the amount they will be paid separately to testify if asked; the professional credentials of the evaluator; and a 30-day deadline for the expert to file the results of their report with the court under seal.
[..]
Heller held secret court hearings on May 14 and May 17 where Herman [Dr Steven Herman] testified about his report. During the second hearing sources said Herman left the courtroom and failed to finish testifying. Herman had been paid $20,000 to do the report and then he asked Dulos to pay him an additional $8,000 to testify about it in court.

A week after the last hearing, Jennifer Farber Dulos disappeared and police found evidence that she was attacked in the garage of her New Canaan home. Her body has never been found.
