This is a great video. Answers almost all the Ramsey spin/lies with logic and facts.
Give it a listen

JR states he can’t imagine awaiting another 24 hours before they heard from the kidnappers. Key word another. He didn’t ask the authorities about the time as it came and went; nor did PR. How extremely odd! But they sure had BR escorted from the house asap.

JR states they gave BPD everything including credit card records. What about those missing and erased phone records John?

About the book found in the suitcase - I have always understood that book to be Dr. Seuss ‘Seven Lady Godiva's’. I never even knew Dr. Seuss had written an adult book until this case. Was the book actually ‘Oh, the places they will go”?

About the suitcase - it has also been my understanding that JR himself admitted to moving the suitcase from the laundry room outside JB bedroom; this was before the holiday events.

PR wrote the RN, period. She put the pen right back in its original container. JR attache sitting at the wet bar where the maglite should have been returned to its drawer; especially if it was the murder weapon. My bet is on the softball bat found outside with basement carpet fiber on it. The rope used to strangle JB was purchased by PR. And who would have actually placed duct tape on the back of an American girl doll to hold her head on then PR? Which brings me to BR knife being found in the basement. PR scissors were sitting on the washer or dryer in the basement. She had used them that morning while finishing Christmas wrapping. What exactly was BR role in the killing and abuse of JB?

Since 1500 pieces of evidence were collected in this case, I wonder if BR (fecal stained) pj bottoms were one of those items and if it was tested?

The latent print found on the wine cellar room door belonged to Melinda Ramsey, as I understood it. I have never heard of JAR‘s print being found there.

As for Lou Smit, I have this to say, “The family that prays together, stays together”.

Cynic impresses with facts backed up with more facts. Loved how he showed the many stories about the basement window that John gave.

Patsy wrote the RN. John likely had no idea Patsy hurt their daughter until, well, maybe he doesn't know now, for sure. JAR said to the killer: Forgive them. The family knew the truth but wouldn't publicly face us with it due to pride or whatnot.

Cynic takes a good portion of time to go over the SA suffered by JonBenet by adding that one doctor said there was signs of healing from trauma no more than ten days earlier. It is clear the child had chronic SA.

Patsy was outraged by the little girl's bed wetting. The entire second floor smelled of urine due to JB wetting her bed, her sheets, her pjs, the blanket, comforter, mattress. Wasn't the first thing the housekeeper did upon arrival ea morn was strip JonBenet's linens and stuff them into the wash? Would Patsy SA her daughter for any reason whether pleasure or punishment? What about that paintbrush assault?

While I don't know who killed JonBenet, the Grand Jury heard all of the evidence about SA and issued True Bills of Indictment against John and Patsy for child abuse that Alex Hunter hid from the public for many years.

Good post DeDee! Only thing I noticed (that wasn’t correct) is it was PR who stripped the bed and washed the sheets before the housekeeper got there.
Trisha uses Cynic in her podcasts. This speaks volumes about his knowledge in this case!

I can't help feeling that the Ramsey family got a bad deal on this. If there had been evidence to prosecute any family members, I feel they would have been charged and prosecuted by now. It seems like a lot of the "evidence" is just "much ado about nothing."

There are so many conspiracies surrounding this case, and while family members are often the culprits, I can't help but think they weren't in this specific incidence.

GRT,
And you have a right to your opinion.

There was enough evidence to prosecute. That is the meaning of the Grand Jury indictments. The most likely reason for not prosecuting is that Burke was involved. At the time of the murder, Burke was just shy of his 10th birthday and, under Colorado law, could not be prosecuted or publicly named as a perpetrator or as an accomplice in JBR's murder. The requirement to exclude Burke meant that John and Patsy could not feasibly be prosecuted, either.

I believe to make the case the prosecution would have to prove who did what - It’s impossible to say with any real certainty- I could make a plausible argument for every Ramsey & their role in that house that night.

OMG!
I can’t believe after ALL THESE YEARS …. I’m just now learning Cynic is a man!

Excellent Debunking video! Thank you!

When the news broke in 2013 about the GJ indictments against John and Patsy, it was the end of the case for me. If you watch the news conference when Alex Hunter says the GJ finished its work, I "knew" J and P were indicted and Hunter was wimping out. I have been slowly coming back and reading about the case, but there will never be anyone or anything that can convince me that John and Patsy weren't involved in the cover-up, at the very least. I imagine, if we ever knew the complete truth, we would never trust any prosecution team again.

This video should be required viewing for everyone who still believe in the misinformation spread by the R's and their team.

Thank you for sharing the Cynic rebuttal video from TruCrime on the Jon Benet Ramsey case. It is well done and convincing. Sadly the loss of the young child JBR remains at the center of this case.

IMO it seems much of the impediment to proper resolution of this case is the handling of the matter by the Boulder, CO DA? Did I understand correctly from this video that for one of the Grand Jury inquiries the family was allowed to also present their ‘case’ or ‘defense’ as part of that inquiry? Wow…… seems highly unusual. (And in spite of that allowance, the GJ still returned an indictment for charges that the DA chose not to bring?) And that same DA office later published some sort of an ‘exoneration’ letter? This also seems atypical IMO.

As noted in the video, something does seem to center around the partially uneaten bowl of pineapple. Perhaps a disagreement or argument ensued over it?

On the distance between the supposed two blue dot marks (attributed by some to a ‘stun gun’), IIRC there were indications in some sources that might have been the distance between rails on a certain scale / gauge train track? I would have been interested in the Cynic perspective on that too. (If it was included I may have missed it.) There is a WS thread on that here:

Yes, the DA at the time did a lot to hinder and obstruct the police investigation in this case. One has to ask the question, why? He had a reputation of not wanting to prosecute cases, but all the meddling he did in this one was unprecedented. When you look at his connections within the legal and political circles at the time and how that intersects with Ramsey connections, it's very suspicious. And also yes is the fact that the defense was represented in the GJ, with testimony from Lou Smit (who presented his intruder theory), John Douglas and if I remember correctly 3 other persons that had to do with the polygraph examinations, but only R hired people. Highly unprecedented, and they still voted to indict.

It was a different DA who offered the "letter of exoneration" based upon the DNA findings, but ignoring the experts cautions about what those findings really indicated. It's inconclusive and of course was taken out of context by the R camp.

The bowl of pineapple is an important element in this case. The coroner's findings of that in JBR's digestive track is very significant, as it contradicts the story that the R's finally landed on about what happened when they arrived home that night, after telling a few different versions. They were insistent that JBR fell asleep in the car and never woke up, never ate pineapple. This throws water on their timeline and calls into question their entire account(s) of what happened after leaving the White's. If they were lying about that, what else are they lying about?

Thank you for clarifying. BDI was only one possibility. The indictments could also reflect that the GJ determined that the parents were (also) involved but could not determine who did what.
