Have I been watching too much tv? I thought, in general, cops don't like or disclose, any information to PIs working on a case that they, too, are working on?

Also, someone who runs a FB page for HD has enough cash flow to hire a PI? Or is this a donation type PI?

I imagine he is doing it free like the last one was.

Just to clarify on Mitchell and Scurry counties there have been recent oil field booms i guess you would call it. Lots of oil companies moving in recently and if you look in the photo's out at Lake Jb Thomas with the police vehicles etc it appears the dirt is piled up. So my assumption is possibly oilfield people out there cleaning up the area or something along those lines. That is one possibility as to why there has been a discovery now. Also the lakes are pretty much dried up in this area related to little rain fall in the past few years.

I have not heard any more about the male from bigsprings. I do know that the male found in sweetwater along the highway was identified but nothing about the one in bigspring.

I have often wondered if the male in Big Spring could possibly be Charlie Richardson from Strawn. He has no next of kin and a lady in Strawn he worked with was handling his affairs. She is the one who reported him missing. He had walked to a roadside park and said he was going to catch a ride to California. I just wonder if someone picked him up and then did him harm around Big Spring and disposed of him there. IIRC he had no next of kin to perform DNA on. I could be wrong, but he is the only one I could think of that might not could be identified.

That announcement from HFH is kinda funny because Haileys dad, grandmothers, uncle etc all live in Snyder and are already there. I assume its Billie and DD that are on the way.

This is the first report that I have read that is stating that LE is recovering skeletal remains.

People will talk, but that doesn't make them right, either.

When we had our serial killer around here a few years ago, after the second body was found there was a lot of rather odd information about the body and where it was found on some of the TV stations. They attributed it to an LE source.

Turned out the "LE source" was the cop directing traffic half a mile away, where the road was closed, and he had seen exactly as much as everybody else had seen: the mortuary van pulling away.

So until there's something official released by LE, I take it with a lot of salt.

More than enough time to be honest. Remember there are no confirmed sightings of Hailey alive by anyone outside of the family after Sunday night. It was Tuesday before she was reported missing so he/she had nearly two days and its not that far from where Billie worked.
