Sometimes, a picture paints a thousand words. This firefighter's resuscitating a baby hamster after a house fire.

The thanks button is not enough for this very kind compassionate Fire Fighter. I can guess he managed to resuscitate the baby hamster. :loveyou:

I couldn't just leave it, not knowing. Prepare yourselves. Mom left a dryer on and went out. It caught fire. When firefighters arrived, she told them her kids were at school but the hamster family were inside.

Firefighters have tubes for cats and dogs but had to improvise, here. They found two adults and three babies. Adults okay, two babies 'sluggish' and one not moving. They saved four. One baby, they lost. :(

But heck, just thank you to those guys and their improvisation, and their care for every, tiny life.

Other two babies they put in a plastic bag, then pumped oxygen into the bag. Improvisation!
