Today is Adji Desir’s seventh birthday.

The Collier County Sheriff’s Office is once again reaching out to the public for tips that could help in bringing the developmentally disabled boy home.

“We’re still hopeful to reunite him with his parents,” said Sgt. Ken Becker of CCSO’s Major Crimes Bureau. “But as time goes on it will depend on assistance from the public and that one person who has that little bit of information that will lead us to him.”

Next month the search for Adji will extend to the mailboxes of millions of residents across the United States.

Adji’s photo will be featured on national direct-mail advertising fliers to be distributed to 75 million homes across the United States during the week of Nov. 8 through the week of Dec. 13, according to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children® (NCMEC).

I missed your birthday but the other ladies here remembered you Adji. We all love you more than you can know, and we will not forget you.

Adji,
I haven't been here on the WS site since August. And yet not one day has gone by when I have not thought of you, prayed for you. Your sweet face will be forever in my mind and your memory will be forever in my heart. I think of your family and how they must feel.
I pray that wherever you are that you will be found soon, so that everyone who cares for you will have closure and you will know peace. God bless you.

The Florida group is known for traveling the state to hold vigils for missing children, and each woman in the group has their own missing child.

They arrived in Collier County just days after Adji Desir's seventh birthday.

Happy (belated) Birthday Adji!

Not a day goes by that I don't think about little Adji and pray for him. I hope and pray that one day soon we will find out our prayers have been answered and precious Adji is found.

I saw a huge billboard for Adji when I was driving home for work today. I live in the next county over from him. It was so nice to see Adji getting some of the attention he deserves.

I am so glad that the search for Adji is still active. I am hoping that since he has not been found, it may mean he is still alive. I hope anyway. I still pray for him and his family and I guess I always will until he comes home.

Very nice of that group to have the candlelight vigil for him.

In my heart of hearts I feel that Adji is alive and he just needs to be found. Adji you dear young man now .... drop a clue so LE knows that you are alive. It is time to come home and see your g'ma and family.

Adji, I see you trying to sneak over to page 3. Not yet. I hope that the reason you have not been found is that you are alive somewhere and that you will come back home soon.

I was wondering, since that is a farmworker's area, is there any market for children who are taken to be used as forced labor? I was thinking that Adji is big enough to pick vegetables/fruits and little enough to overpower.

I haven't forgotten Adji and never will.I will always keep him in my prayers to find him.

The one registered sex offender living in Farm Worker Village, 51-year-old Luis Reveron, was outside smoking a cigarette and fixing a truck in front of his home at 1743 Elm Hammock Circle on Friday morning. He said through a translator that he has been questioned twice by investigators.

Revorn said he was at the casino Saturday night when Adji disappeared.

“He feels bad. He has a grandson too,” said Reveron’s friend, Alberto Cintron, who helped translate

Just going back to basic information released at the time Adji went missing and AC is a SO from Puerto Rico - wondering if he was ever investigated by LE. I can't seem to get any where on the PR Sex Offender site .. language barrier being one reason. And why in the heck were these two dudes hanging out together in Farm Worker Village?

Anybody have any insights as to how to further check out AC? Here is a snag of the info on AC:
