An update to this story sure would be nice! I have searched the news archives an can't find anything. I sent an email to the reporter who did the original story asking for an update.
I just received this email in response to my inquiry on an update:

Greetings,

Thanks for the note. Unfortunately, there is no new information to write a follow up story. As far as I know from the cops, Mr. Wasserman is still unaccounted for, though they have talked to his attorney. They have still not released a cause of death and there has been little other public movement in the case.

We'll do a follow up when we can,

Take care,
Gabriel Margasak

After all of the years I am still wondering about this one.

Why or what do you still wonder? The events have already been explained, what else do you think happened?

Wasn't the Dr. on probation or at the very least with priors? That explains why he didn't want to get arrested for his current illegal activities. Is that not a plausible reason as to why he allegedy left the country and lawyered up to deal with the situation without getting involved?

The young lady died from an accidental overdose:

A snip of an article that is pay per view:

Here is the press release about her being found: (second half of page one)

I can't find any updates on Wasserman. I don't know if they were able to speak with him or not.

None of the links provided earlier in this thread work for me. I don't know if it was the Dr.s attn who wrote the letter that was given to LE. (referenced in a snip in a post back thread).

Thank you...I had not read the May 16th article. I still think there is alot more to it that we may never know.
