Anyone think they can salvage the practice? mho is they may as well shut the doors. Now that its out a convicted felon had access to all their personal information I cant imagine anyone would want to go back there. And after this I dont see how those riding on TS professional reputation doing speaking engagements will get very far.I think the 5 minutes are up and game over. All jmo.

Whoever wanted this done wanted it done when TS was home alone. They were gone for a few days. A good time to break in a home and a safe. Yet they chose the night she was returning home alone. Someone wanted her! jmo.

Agree--She was the target. As LvsAMystry pointed out, most people pay by CC or check. Hardly anyone would pay $200 cash for a DRs. appointment, maybe a few but not many. Robbing the safe on the night TS comes home doesn't make sense. JMO

For the new readers:

Admin Note:

Allow me to clarify the parameters regarding speculation of Mark Sievers:

He has not been named a suspect or POI. HOWEVER, this is what has changed -

It has definitely been confirmed that CWW and Mr. Sievers have been lifelong close friends. Mark and CWW even shared the same street address at one time, per sources cited. It has been confirmed that he was employed as the IT specialist for Dr. Sievers practice. It has been confirmed by Dr. Siever's sister that Mark has not contacted her since the arrest of his close friend that is charged with murdering her sister. There's more but I'm not going to list them all here. The connections are there. And the connections are confirmed between CWW and JR. We can't possibly expect people to not speculate how those close connections may be related to solving this case. That's what sleuths do - follow the trail of breadcrumbs to hopefully connect the dots. It's a natural curiosity. Sure doesn't mean anyone is correct in their speculations. (And fwiw, neither JR OR CWW were publicly named POIs before their arrest yesterday.)

Also, I have seen some excellent posts expressing very plausible theories that have nothing to do with Mark being involved with the murder of his wife. This is the beauty of Websleuths - remain open-minded while reading and consider ALL theories then give them the weight one feels they deserve.

The line is drawn here:

No posting of anything ascertained through sleuthing regarding Mr. Sievers, including public records. If info has been reported by MSM, it's okay, otherwise not okay.

The 5 minutes were up on June 29th. Another red flag for me was when they said another doctor will be coming in shortly to help keep the practice running.
Listen--If my wife was brutally murdered, the LAST thing on my mind would be my job. I know I have to feed my children and such, but I would want to know WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED and who did this. That would be my immediate and only concern. Since TS and MS were not poor and I'm guessing did not live paycheck to paycheck, they must have had savings and MS and the children would survive, even with help from family members. To many red flags for me. JMO

Maybe she didn't have the alarm set but the perps got in via having a spare garage door opener ...WW has been around the house frequently enough to have possibly been offered one or maybe he "lifted" one?

(This concept of WW having a garage door opener to gain entry was originally posted by another poster & I think it has merit but I can not take credit for it).

Or he knew the code for the keypad next to the door.

It is complicated. The complication I have in mind has to do with entering the garage.

I suggested earlier the perps removed the garage door opener from the parked van at the airport, then went back to the S house etc. . They would still return the opener to the parked van. But how would they access the van without tripping the car alarm?

Then I suggested they may have taken the whole van, in case there was no removable garage opener in the vehicle, but a programmed code or home link system. They would then have returned the van. Without a key?

Okay, then they do not go to the airport, they wait for Dr S to return home, she opens up the garage door, they sneak in. However, that only works if the garage door is linked to a security system that disarms the alarm as well as the outside surveillance cameras in front of the house. If they are still running, we are out of luck. Nope, we are not..

Here is my theory: They will have to make sure Dr S disarms the alarm system herself. Even if they had a code, they would have not done so themselves. It would have clearly implicate a family member or a person, who had knowledge, like possibly CWW.

Having said that, they made a mistake I was pointing out from the very beginning. In an effort not to draw attention towards the fact that Dr Sievers was targeted, they staged the break-in of the garage side door. That door had to be part of the alarm perimeter, since the police would have known how they came in. Also, in talking to several home security experts, they all agreed that the garage side door is always included in the system in these kind of homes, because it is so vulnerable. The main garage door is usually not part of the alarm system, but can be on request.

We were wondering - and so was LE - why the motion detectors did not pick up any movements and how the intruders knew to break into a non-secured (cameras) side door. Here is why: Someone TURNED the security camera, which is located over the garage, into the other direction. If you look at that camera, there is just enough space that would allow the camera to be repositioned!

So what happened here is exactly the opposite of what we expected. The camera was focusing on the area towards the side door. That door was staged AFTERWARDS, when the alarm had been turned off, after the attack. They then repositioned the camera again later.

I have to find one of the first news coverages, where you can see a turned or fallen trash can in exactly that area! I always wondered why it was turned over. That was not the can on the curb.

So, that is what I think happened. The question remains, when was the camera repositioned the first time, if this is what happened.

All my copyrighted opinion of course.;--)

Within the various discussions today, I believe I heard there were safes---plural...SAFES.
So naturally we here assume that the safe was used to hold money but safes can hold guns, pills, jewelry, cash, gold, coins, cheques, identity papers, incriminating photos or documents, video tapes, wills, prescription pads, divorce documentation, etc, etc

So why would there be a need for safes (plural) ?? Hmmm???

Did i miss something? The easiest thing would be to get the house key and disarm the house like anyone does when they come home from vacation. WW could have walked in the front doot and the beat up door could have been for show.

Based on what we've learned so far, it is hard for me to believe MS isn't involved.

However, here is another theory about why the murder might have been at the house, even though a staged robbery at another location might have made it harder to track the perps:

If TS murder is revenge for some sort of deal gone bad, maybe the intent was to really make MS suffer, by literally hitting him where he lives. As others have pointed out, WW has a history that includes meth. Meth tends to suck the soul out of people, and make them capable of the worst things imaginable.

Even if this isn't what happened, MS vs. WW could become a he-said/he-said where MS can claim that he double-crossed WW on a deal, and had no idea what WW was capable of. No, it doesn't make sense to let TS travel alone if he was aware there was danger, but it is a possibility.

Additional thought: this is why LE has to proceed so carefully. Proving what arrangements might have been made with WW might be harder to prove because there were already business reasons for money to change hands.

I have two safes in my home. One is large for larger items and one is smaller for passports, vehicle titles, etc.

LE said right away that this was targeted. I wonder what led them to that conclusion.

Are both JR and CWW felons? If so, are all felon's DNA on file?

Was some DNA found and the dots were connected right away? Or what else was the give away?

I have a theory of a love triangle that doesn't include MS but I don't think I'm allowed to post it here but it does involve WW and not TS.

Yes,they were both felons before this and yes DNA is collected from all felons.

Love theories! But alas we can't speculate. Theories solve crimes!

Teresa WAS the "Cash Cow"...without her seeing patients, suggesting supplements, referring people to massage therapist etc Nothing was going to continue. If you look at the total number of friends on the lists of LS's social media accounts...nothing happening there either. The TV thing was just getting started...so no residuals there. She WAS the business. Everyone knew that...patients and staff alike.

Teresa was certainly the sole reason for the success of the practice. However, her vision was helping humanity. Teresa helped many people and organizations at no cost. The vision, in the eyes of the mastermind(s), was monetary gain. I don't think it's a coincidence that the television contracts had just been finalized. Think of the additional marketing opportunities for someone to "carry the message forward in memory of Dr. Teresa". There were scheduled seminars that members of her office could present. There was already a major network TV interview that involved a relative and an co-worker. Not to mention the local news interviews of staff. MS had already arranged for a physician to handle patients on an interim basis. The alternative services offered by the practice were still up and running. I believe it suited someone to have a more easily manipulated and less humanitarian doctor as a "figurehead" while illegal and/or unethical enterprises were making money in the background.

Also, does anyone else find it odd that SH didn't return to the practice when MS opened it up again? jmho

Thank goodness LE can speculate with theories. This crime WILL be solved shortly. IMO, LE knows exactly what happened already, but there is no rush. The best thing LE did in this case is seal every ones lips

I would think a household would have more than one safe if a person had shotguns or hunting guns. Short of that (and I don't think that applied to the Dr's household) then having multiple safes seems a tad odd to me, iykwim.
