White male found in Fort Piece, Fl on October 7, 1986. He was 6'1" and 170 lbs. His only description is dark brown hair. No DNA, dentals or fingerprints, but a recognizable face.

It appears he was dressed nicely and had "$372.00 (seven $50.00 dollar bills) in pants pocket." Clothing describes as "Hennessy tan dress shirt with darker stripes, size large. Jordache blue jeans, size 34 long. Size 10D grey Nacona brand cowboy boots. 34"-36" woven leather belt. Calvin Klein underwear"

He also wore a Seiko watch.

As a possible match I have submitted George Alfred Davisworth III. At 41 years of age Mr. Davisworth went missing in Houston, TX in Oct of 1985. It is reported he was on his way to Florida. Mr. Davisworth is described as 73-77 inches tall and 165-170 lbs with brown hair. Fingerprints available and DNA complete.

What is curious, is that the woman with whom he was friends Carla King, and possibly killed along side, was last seen in Fort Pierce!!

Here's the DoeNet page for the John Doe:

    http://www.doenetwork.org/hot/hotcase376.html

It contains additional information that he was the victim of a homicide by gunshot, and that his hands were tied behind his back. The body was badly decomposed.

I heard back from Florida, and skull was sent to U. of FL. forensic lab. They will see if DNA can be done and entered in CODIS. I asked if a reconstruction could be provided. Florida suggested the weight of the UID might be closer to 200 lbs due to decomposition.

I also submitted Mr MacKenzie as he had dentals available.

To rule out others close by I submitted Howard Gratteau who stood 6'2" and weighed 200 lbs. Missing Sept 1, 1986 from Broward County he was 39 year old and had straight brown hair.

Carla King's remains were discovered in July of 1985, so is it possible the remains found in October of 1986 could be her companion? The Fort Pierce remains were thought to have been there for a month. I guess it depends upon how much credence you put in a murderer's death bed confession.

Today jordache jeans come from Wal~Mart. Back then they were pricey designer jeans. That along with the Calvin Klein underwear and the rest of the description of his clothes and money in his pocket says he was not homeless or a drifter. Someone should be missing him. Or at least wondering what happened to him. Maybe drugs are a possible angle to his murder?

That's also a rather pricey watch. "Seiko Lassale Quartz Watch with a silver face, gold number indicators and grey leather band."

None of it's hugely expensive but it's well up in the "yuppie" price range.

I really want Patrick to be found. This has always been one of the biggest mysteries in my home town. The Defransesco's are well known around Fort Pierce. My mom even dated his brother Tony briefly back in high school, lol.

White looks like a good possibility. The clothes certainly match. Not sure how they're ruling people in or out if they don't have DNA, dentals, or fingerprints, though.

No new ruleouts, but he has DNA now. https://identifyus.org/en/cases/1225 says no dentals, but they must have something because some people have been ruled out on dentals. It's possible they don't have enough information for online charting but have evidence of a particular characteristic that can be used to eliminate people. Like maybe a partial plate, or gold tooth, or something.
