Detectives need help identifying a deceased man. On 1/5/19 deputies responded to a report of a man down in the middle of the roadway, on the frontage road in front of the St Lucy Plaza in Spring Hill.
Upon arrival, it was determined the male was already deceased. He is not a Hit and Run victim, it looks like he may have had a medical episode and fell to the ground. He has no ID on him. He doesn't look homeless, he is clean, his cloths are in good condition and he has well taken care of teeth.

White male
Approximately 50 years of age
Blue (long sleeve) Avenger's t shirt
Blue Dickies pants
Black Sneakers

He may be from the Berkeley Manor area or nearby neighborhood.

Edit. Oh. They have an urgent alerts section and the Sheriff's department has a link there. But nothing posted about this case. I'm certain that would freak out a family member if they learned that way. Ugh.

They did a media release, put it on FB, put it on their Webpage and went door to door yesterday handing out flyers. I will suggest Nextdoor also. You never know who will see this and know who he is. Thank you for looking.

Detectives are asking anyone living in Spring Hill to check on male neighbors who may live alone or frequently go out walking.

NORTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, FLA. (WSVN) - Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a man who went missing in Northwest Miami-Dade.

Sixty-three-year-old Jose Bautista has been missing since Jan. 2, 2019 after being released from the hospital in the area 1200 block of Northwest 16 Street.

Bautista stands 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighs 128 pounds and has black and gray hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a red shirt and blue jeans.

Authorities said Bautista speaks fluent Spanish and very little English. They said he suffers from high blood pressure and has memory loss.
