Estimated height 5'8". Healed fractures to nose, ribs, spine, toe, and finger. Blue-green surgical suture in right kneecap, bifurcated sternum. Likely suffered from arthritis, Eagle's Syndrome, and ear infections.

Found with the remains were a dark Nike baseball hat, black t-shirt, black sweatpants with gray stripes down the sides, white socks, and white Nike shoes. Also found were wire-framed sunglasses and a bottle of wetting solution for contact lenses.

I had to look up Eagle's Syndrome as I hadn't heard of it:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eagle_syndrome

Sounds like someone who had all manner of health problems so surely a doctor or other health professional of some sort would recognise him if he had ever sought treatment. If they haven't already, they should put together some sort of flyer to send round all the relevant hospital departments in the area.

With the medical treatments, (likely) contact lenses, and Nike clothing, he sounds pretty middle class. I wonder if maybe LE should check the mall he was found near.

Isn't there evidence in the skeleton to determine race? Or maybe he's bi-racial.

I live in Jacksonville and frequent this mall often. There are wooded area's that you could hide plenty of bodies. Seeing as he was found in 2013 I believe I recall a body being found in the woods before you get to the mall and then hearing nothing else about it. A gas station is there now as I believe that's how the body was discovered. If this is the same dead body he was very much dumped. Me and my husband took his 4x4 back there years earlier and plenty of trails to ride around. Robbery or drug related? We have a big homeless population here and plenty of violent crime.

here is the original news clip from 2013 that I believe to be the same man. It says they found him across the street from Publix (brightman and town center parkway) I recalled it being further down near the gas station (town center parkway and st. johns) when I drove by but perhaps my memory is failing me...or perhaps they had that area searched as well.

Patrick Cornelius? https://www.findthemissing.org/en/cases/19090/40 Missing January 2013 from Fort Pierce, about 220 miles south of where the body was found. He's 50, in range. 5'10" versus the UID's estimated 5'8" is pretty close. At 200 lbs he would likely be wearing XL or larger clothing.

Says he was living on a boat.

There's certainly see some resemblance to the sketches. The missing information for the gentleman implies he was on water but then again, you never know.

If you were going to murder a man who lived on a boat, faking an accident would be a great way to cover it up. If he was calling for help because he thought he was having a heart attack, they'd most likely have found him wherever the radio was. While it's possible he would have stumbled overboard, it sounds fishy to me. And not the kind you make into sushi.

It would be interesting to know how invasive his Eagles Syndrome really was. It is rare enough that you would think a doctor would remember it.

Maybe, maybe not. Unless he sought treatment for sinus conditions or something, it might never have been diagnosed.

Sorry guys, my tablet is acting up. I noticed that the guy carried around Visine. According to Medscape; bloodshot eyes are a common symptom for people with Eagle Syndrome. That being said, if the man were poor; he wouldn't actively be treating his symptoms. I believe he WAS being seen by a doctor and knew about his condition. :) imho link provided: http://www.rightdiagnosis.com/e/eagles_syndrome/symptoms.htm

Amazing resemblance. I think this needs to be looked into deeply.
