SCSO looking for missing 40-year-old man

SUWANNEE COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - The Suwannee County Sheriff's Office are looking for a missing 40-year-old man.

SCSO says John Carlisle last made contact with a friend on April 24 in the Ranchettes area of Suwannee County, but he was spotted at the Keg Room Bar on SR 247 on April 26.

Carlisle is 5-foot-5, 200 pounds, with black hair and green eyes. He has a full beard and a scar on the end of his nose.

SCSO says Carlisle might be considering harming himself.

SCSO says if you know of John's whereabouts or have seen him since April 26, please contact them at 386-362-2222.

SUWANNEE COUNTY, Fla. (WCTV) - The family of a Florida man who has been missing for several years has finally gotten an answer as to where he has been.

On Thursday, the Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that human remains found in early December belong to John Frank Carlisle, who was 40 years old when he vanished in 2018.
