They didn't to put the defense in the position of having to put Dunn on the stand to testify as to his claim of self-defense.

This same team made a major error in the GZ trial by putting all the information out there first, making it unnecessary for him to testify.

It wouldn't surprise me if Cory says that Abuso can testify AFTER MD. She knows already she can make mincemeat out of both of them AND put on a fantastic rebuttal case.

Lessons learned...
 
really hard to say how MD will be on stand...he seems to have multiple personalities. he is dressed as "boy next door" today. defense has zero to lose by putting him on and if he connects with one juror bingo. also i would think it is more difficult to put a guy that has talked to you directly away for life...i believe that was the problem with arias. much easier if they just sit smug and say nothing...sort of like they are pulling one over on you...but zimmerman pulled it off....should be an interesting day. this dr. is the alyce la violette of the trial and really should not be allowed but corey will show him to the door quickly.

The defense, if Dunn testifies, will open more doors. This also includes the possible rebuttal of witness testimony as to his "peaceable" nature. I've read stuff about him that I can't link here that indicates, if allegations made are true, he's anything but peaceable in his personal life.

Thanks, CarolinaMoon. From things I have read, I agree with you.

I wonder about the girlfriend/fiancee's extreme anxiety on the stand. She may have felt "safe" talking freely in the police interview away from MD (and at the time did not realize it could be seen by so many). However, when she had to be honest in front of him, I think she may have been terrified of him and what he may say/do to her if/when the are together again. Just a thought...
 
I watched some of the girlfriend testifying on archive, she was shaking and all boo hoo hoooooo, oh PU-lease. She was cool as a cucumber when her boyfriend was shooting people and calmly walked out with her wine and ordered a pizza later.

And they can show that interview from the day after where she is not quaking and shaking. IMO, she's afraid of Dunn.
 
i agree jury not getting case and i so want those letters in....so relevant to his mindset even after the crime

as of late yesterday, we were told only 1-2 witnesses left, meaning no. But I'll let you know if that changes.

Question was if Dunn's dad would take the stand.
 
md has a strong hold over Rhonda...very strong...she is terrified of him and I'll bet abuse is part of the relationship verbal or other

I watched the uncut police videos of RR and MD which were about 2.5 hrs. I then listened to neighbors audio of their encounters with MD and his 2nd and 3rd wives. Unbelievable. I also read the article where MD piloted a plane into NASA airspace and was escorted by a military helicopter to an airport where he was detained. MD is something else.....JMV
