I"m hoping they release the Walmart video that I think they may have regarding the truck - unless they don't feel the public will help with tips by viewing it?

This sounds like something was found in the truck at Walmart to focus the search for Leila in Hollywood instead of where Kamdyn was found.

Maybe, but they said the investigation was turned over to Hollywood LE because she was last seen in Hollywood and her car was found in Hollywood jurisdiction.

Leila might still be OK. If drugs are involved people do disappear for weeks at a time then just show back up.

Another thought I had was, perhaps someone else drove with Leila and Kam to FL and that person had nefarious intentions? Maybe she wasn't driving to meet someone, maybe she drove with someone she had already met?

Side note: I wonder if her car simply broke down or ran out of gas and that is why it was left in the lot, and not because she was kidnapped or anything there?

I thought about that too because it would be difficult to drive 10 ish hours alone with a toddler. But her dad and grandfather said she was Facebook messaging a guy who asked her to come to Florida. So I think she drove up there alone at night when kam was sleeping. Moo

I dont find her actions weird. For some of us, when we are in deep struggle, even with family ready to help? We still wont reach out, in fear of being seen as week an too ill to handle life ourselves. Add to that having a kid to provide for? I totally see someone in such a vulnerable place agreeing to meet up with someone promising payment, whether from a 9-5 or a lucrative escort offer (hey, several hundred you can make while your son is alseep or at school!). And she may have had the bad luck of meeting up with someone who had other ideas. Very sad. And people can be very naive at that age range, making them even more vulnerable.

So thankful this little boy was found safe and I hope Leila is also. I have a bad feeling about this one and I usually try and stay optimistic.

It seems she was living a hard, hectic life and if drugs are involved that just pushes it into a dark and dangerous environment with so many nefarious possibilities.

I’m thinking that drugs has a lot of do with her choices.

She would have to apply and be eligible for benefits first. Do we know how she supported herself? Does she live in public housing or does she have her own apartment?

LE must have reason to believe she could be in danger. She may have been lured to Florida and abducted.

Hi I am following this case to I was thinking if Leila traveled 8 hrs or more and her son was sleeping on the ride by the time she arrived her son probably wasn't tired if she went with the person she might be meeting could it possible she fell asleep and her son was awake and the person dropped him off without her knowing and from there I don't know just a thought

I honestly don't think drugs have anything to do with her going missing. Yes people disappear for days or weeks on end whilst on a binge and some do abandon their children but normally they have a history of hard and persistent drug use.
Leila has dabbled in drugs but from what has been learned about her, I don't think shes a drug addict. She is young, she's made some questionable mistakes and it seems she didn't have the most stable family and upbringing. Her son is clean, well nourished, healthy and very happy looking which means she was a good mother, a young mother with practically no help or support. She was bound to make mistakes, the pressure of it all, the hopelessness etc. To me she seems like she was trying to get herself out of her situation and better herself and her sons life and I believe that is what brought her all the way to Florida. I think she has met with foul play, I don't think she will be found alive if shes even found at all. That poor boy is going to google his Mums name one day and have to read all the comments about her being a druggy, an escort/prostitute and reading between the lines that she deserved whatever happened to her. My heart breaks for Leila and her life struggle and my heart breaks for a little boy that is going to grow up without a Mum and one day have his heart broken reading some of the things people thought about her without even knowing her.

That's what it says. Has LE made a public statement or given an update recently? Why would she still be listed as missing and endangered if they believe she left willingly and have made contact with her?
