Do they have a video of her at Walmart? If it's in the parking lot maybe it's not clear or doesn't show her face and that's why they didn't release it? Idk.

Leila Cavett was last seen July 25, according to an attorney for the family.

Do we know when she left Georgia to go to Florida? I think this is an important thing we need to know.
I think there was some conjecture that she drove thru the night (Friday or Saturday) while K slept but I haven't heard that we know this.
Anyway, I was thinking if she did drive thru the night perhaps she took something to help her stay awake? idk.
Also, adrenaline can really get one going where they just don't sleep.
I think her cell activity is going to prove important in this case.

Did we ever find out? I don't think we ever found out EXACTLY when she left Georgia. I would like to know that too.

I'm so far behind I skipped from page 8 to here. Apologies in advance I dunno if this has been addressed.

I have a real doubt that a child of Kam's age could free himself from a carseat and get out of a truck and run off. There is zero way my 27 month old granddaughter has the strength to undo her very snug harness, let alone open the door to their Suburban (noted for height) and get safely to the pavement. I believe he was intentionally dropped off. All jmo.

I think he was either dropped off AFTER something bad happened to Leila OR Leila KNEW something bad was going to happen to her so she begged the perp to drop him off.

With Leila's FB being taken down today or last night and also the police never released a description of the man she was seen with other than he was black yet we know that there are tons of video cameras at all Walmarts - LE should have video of him in the parking lot at the very least. I think that her FB contained evidence and that is why it was taken down - to preserve evidence and I think LE knows exactly who she traveled to Florida to see. Otherwise, they would have released a sketch or more of a description.

I think she was incapacitated in some way.
I'm just so confused as to how K got there.
Was he dropped off in a strange place to him? How frightening for him. Can you imagine?
Did he find his way out of an apartment? Had his mother been there with someone else and left?
Did someone (LC and/or friend) know someone who lived in the apt. complex K was found?
Had they been in a vacant apt?
Is the complex just somewhere familiar to drop off K?
I have sooooooo many questions.
This is a bazaar case imo.

Leila Cavett was last seen on July 26 in Hollywood near the area of Hollywood Boulevard and State Road 7, about two miles from where her son was found that same day in the 1800 block of Southwest 68th Avenue in Miramar.

The date last seen says July 26. The same day Kaylyn was found.

Namus says July 25. the day before Kamdyn was found.

I agree, or at least want to convince myself of this. I can’t get this case off my mind and really hope there are answers. I wish nothing more than for Leila to be okay, but I’m not so convinced that this will be the outcome.

I don't think it's clear at all that LE even have a suspect. They haven't given an update in so long. I wish the media would press them for information.

Volunteers for a Chicago-based law firm are in Hollywood, Florida, passing out flyers in hopes of finding missing Georgia mother, Leila Cavett.

As CrimeOnline previously reported, Cavett, 21, of Dawsonville, Georgia, hasn’t been heard from since July 26, after she possibly drove to Florida with her son.

During the morning hours of July 26, a passerby discovered Cavett’s son, 2-year-old Kamdyn Cavett Arnold, wandering alone in a t-shirt and a diaper outside of an apartment complex off of SW 68th Avenue in Miramar. After searching the area for the toddler’s caretakers without luck, the passerby contacted the police

This clears up some information and leaves some questions:

July 25- Leila last seen in Walmart parking lot with a man in Hollywood. Leila last seen driving the truck (was Kamdyn with them?)

(So Leila did not drive through the night as some were asking since she was sen day before at Walmart).

July 26- Kamdyn found wandering apartments 2 miles away from that Walmart in Miramar.

July 28- Truck found in Hollywood

I’m looking at a map to see how they were at a Walmart in Hollywood that is also 2 miles from where Kamdyn was found, see attached Walmart to apartments 2.1 miles.

So if they were at the Walmart the day before and then Kamdyn found near the next day, the guy must live nearby or they were staying at a hotel. I think he lives close. Moo

This makes a lot of sense. That would explain Kamdyn being relatively well cared for when he was found as well. Makes me think something happened to Leila Saturday night, possibly after she put Kamdyn to bed for the night. He slept through whatever happened and the person or people responsible for Leila's disappearance just left him outside the next morning. Would also explain why Kamdyn pointed all around when asked where his mom was. Where he was found wasn't far from where he had last been with her, so he pointed around because he knew he hadn't traveled far from the space he was last at with her but he didn't know where he exactly came from. Maybe he was even woken up and dropped outside so he was really confused and afraid. All jmo. I'm glad he is ok, but this is really tragic.

I wonder if they had stayed in a vacant apt.
