I don't think she contacted him via a sugar-daday-esq site. Because those people are as discrete as you can be. I see a lot of post talking about the dangers, but those sugar-daddies cannot afford any trouble whatsoever. They usually have wives, and/or a well paid job. They want absolute discretion, and certainly not a bad review.

Its usually the guys on the fringes that can be vague and unpredictable. She posted several things on fb for sale so anyone could have seen that and contacted her IMO.

SBM.

There's "sugar daddies," and then there's also escorting. And the two blend and merge in different ways. Think of the fate of poor MacKenzie Lueck. Not all men who are looking to engage in this activity are reputable, well off, or without significant criminal histories. No judgment here as to the lifestyle or choice, but it is a fact that some young women are choosing to escort quite casually these days.

IMO, I think the truck has something to do with what happened. Remember she was selling a small sedan. She indicated she needed an SUV ASAP. She needed a bigger vehicle for a reason. Finding that reason may be a clue.
Maybe she wanted an SUV with cargo space to travel to Florida and planned on not returning for a long time.

This Is What’s Left of a Stolen 2018 Chevy Silverado Found on a Texas Highway
Feb 2020
''Apparently, no Chevrolet Silverado is safe in North Texas as thieves are targeting the trucks and disabling their OnStar computer systems in minutes, making them nearly impossible to track. Dallas-area news outlets talked with several local owners who've had their pickups stolen, all of which have heard multiple cases similar to theirs''.

Truck Stolen In Oakbank - Steinbachonline.com
March 2020
Surveillance captured a half-ton truck, with a large tank in its box, being taken from the arena parking lot shortly after 5:00 am on Saturday.

The video revealed a dark-colored, older-modeled Jeep Cherokee arriving on scene prior to the theft, and then again following the stolen half-ton as it leaves.

The vehicle has not yet been discovered and is described as a 1992 Chevy Silverado 3500 WT with a license plate of HBU 191.''

How Thieves Are Stealing the Chevrolet Silverado so Quickly | MotorBiscuit
February 28, 2020
''The Chevrolet Silverado is one of the most popular vehicles in the country and has been for many years. Things have changed a lot in recent decades, with pickup trucks becoming more popular, more expensive, and more impressive than ever. And as the Chevy Silverado becomes more alluring to buyers, it also becomes a bigger target to potential thievery. But how are thieves stealing the Chevy Silverado so quickly?''

You should remove the names in above posts, we are not allowed to sleuth/name people who are not POI's. You can elude to people to point us in the direction, such as using initials and a general way for us to find the info. But you can not outright name them here without approval.

This case reminds me a bit of Paige...her last name escapes me at the moment.

Basically she had a history of drug use, but had been sober for a while. She left a nightclub with a man, who turned out to be a sex offender.

Her body was found on a property associated with him, and there was much discussion about if she was murdered or if she overdosed. I was strongly in the murder camp, based on the sexual offender history with whom she was last seen, but it turned out in fact to be an overdose, so the case DID turn out to be drug related.

However, there are other cases where the victim had a history of drug use, but that wasn’t the factor that led to her death (trying to think of an example, can’t think of one atm, but nonetheless I think this is true, jmo...)

My point is this: IMO, if there are hard drugs involved in any case, specifically meth or heroin, there is often a drug connection to the circumstances of missing. It’s a dangerous game with shady people. So, again IF I had to lean in a direction, I would guess it’s highly possible that this may have to do with something, but that’s certainly not a guarantee as I mentioned, and not said in anyway to be judgmental or disrespectful to the victim, just saying that in soooo many cases here, IF there are hard drugs involved, it can be relevant.

Also, how does one find $ for a drug habit, if she had one.

@eyespywithmylileye Interesting post. Early on, when Leila was identified as being Kamdyn's mother, I looked around her Facebook friends to check if someone related to her was anywhere in Florida and I did found the person you mentioned. The fact that she lived in Miramar at some point is very... interesting.

What sites are out there where someone would meet online and then have a meet up or as in this case a visit to Florida.
I’m a long time married woman and have no idea
About these sites or how they work.
Tinder, Bumble, Grindr, Seeking Arrangement and many, many, many more.

So either she panicked because she somehow lost her son. And now she is afraid of coming out.

Or she is with this man she was communicating with and disappeared somehow. Would this person actually do something to her while he knows he possibly can be traced?

A fake sugar daddy wouldn't have none of that to lose. People pretending to be someone they're not on dating websites is not unheard of. Sugar relationship apps are plagged with fake sugar daddies.

I think Walmart would be a strange place to meet for a Sugar Daddy?
Actually, no. She had a child with her. And the rule for ALL first dates is to meet up at a very public place. If this was a sugar daddy arrangment, I wouldn't find it super weird that they would meet up at Walmart, specially if the supposed man offered to pay for stuff at Walmart.

Did police release Walmart Surveillance video?

<modsnip> If we keep posting Facebook stuff (not coming from Leila's Facebook page), screenshots and naming names that were not mentioned in the mainstream media, this thread will most likely get closed.
I think it would be best if someone started a private message and included whoever wants to be included. This type of stuff can only be discussed via private messages, not on the public thread. Thank you.

Ok, huge red flag. I'm not going to post this, but I suggest you look at the pic of headphones she was selling. If you zoom in on the photo there are two other tabs open. I will let you infer what you will by the names of the sites.
Yep. I think it's safe to assume that she was actively looking for someone to financially support her. She was probably going through very rough times when it comes to money, which would make her specially vulnerable to predators manipulating her into believing they could help her financially and lure her into a very unsafe situation. I believe this is what happened.
