FL FL - Michelle Parker, 33, Orlando, 17 Nov 2011 - #24

6 long years...sigh. Thinking of Michelle and her family today and continuing to hold out hope for the resolution, closure and justice they deserve.

This month marks 5 years since the twins have seen Michelle's family. There is a link to a petition at the bottom of this article for a change in the Florida constitution regarding grandparent's rights if anyone is interested in helping YS out with her latest fight.

“January will be five years since we’ve seen the twins. I think about them every day,” said Stewart. “The father won’t let me, and he right now has that right. Even though my daughter is missing, I don’t have the right to see my grandchildren,” said Stewart.

“I just found out that the Florida constitution is up for revision. This is the biggest hurdle and roadblock there is, is that a grandparents having the rights to ask under certain circumstances. Constitution has to be amended so it will allow grandparents visitations if it’s in the best interest of the children according to the state,” said Stewart.

Immediately, she started a Facebook campaign asking folks to call the Florida Constitution Revision Committee requesting that all grandparents get rights.

“We have to make the noise that’s how things happen,” said Stewart.

She doesn’t’ want to miss any more precious time with her growing grandkids.

“I don’t know if where they think their grandmother is or where their mother is or what happened,” said Stewart.

Thanks for signing and sharing the petition. I hope they get the 2000 signatures that they are aiming for. It would be wonderful for them to at least be able to see the twins and let them know how much they are loved by their maternal family.

Hard to believe Michelle would have turned 40 on the 20th of this month. It still infuriates me that justice has not YET been served for her and her family.

MOO

I agree. It's absolutely infuriating.
I lived in Orlando when this happened and have thought about it a lot... ended up in a similar situation with my ex but made it out alive. I'm so sorry she didn't.

Legislators will meet on Thursday to consider changing the law regarding grandparents rights.

I can't believe he hasnt been arrested yet. More than enough circumstantial evidence IMO. This case is way too obvious to not be reconciled

Hoping this is her and the exfiance is finally charged

Per fb comment on wesh page
Michelle's stepmom posted that this is not her
For anyone who cares and wonders, our detective at OPD has kindly informed our family that this is NOT our beloved missing Michelle Parker who was last seen not too far from there. Still sad at this heartbreaking discovery for someone! (I'm Michelle's Stepmom.)

Like everyone else, I don't understand why the main suspect has not been charged. John Lordan has done a BrainScratch Searchlight interview with Michelle Parker's father Brad and her stepmother Gayle https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=udnCGSCVh6E
There's also a link there to the earlier Searchlight that he did on Michelle's case. Hoping things move towards justice for Michelle and her family in 2018.

Does anyone know what type of work Michelle Parker's ex-fiance did? Was he honorably or dishonorably discharged from service?

He was/is a carpenter/cabinet installer. He was dishonorably discharged from the armed services.

According to military records, he was dishonorably discharged from the U.S. Marines years earlier for a domestic violence incident with another woman and for selling drugs.

Would you happen to know what his job was in the Marines? What work was he doing when she disappeared?
