Updated: 6:52 PM EDT June 27, 2016
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives assigned Intelligence Research Specialist Ned Dixon to assist the detectives.

New details revealed in pregnant teen's murder
PUBLISHED JULY 2, 2016 @1:00 AM
According to the indictment, Flowers then traveled to his place of employment, Kentucky Fried Chicken, at 7103 Seminole Blvd. in Seminole, arriving at 1:38 a.m. Police said Flowers was the closing shift manager and did not set the alarm after clocking out earlier that night. Flowers used an employee door to enter the restaurant that was not monitored by surveillance cameras, according to the report.

Detectives said Flowers then set a fire within the KFC cooler that stores chicken. He tried to conceal it by washing the floor down, but he left behind a substance that to date has not been identified.

New court docs out in missing pregnant teen case

Updated: 3:16 AM, Aug 16, 2018
Tracking the cell phone, police say Flowers' phone then pinged at his house, and then again hours later at his work, a Kentucky Fried Chicken store.

According to the indictment, surveillance video shows Flowers returning to work. Police say he was supposed to set an alarm earlier in the evening, but did not. The cameras also reportedly captured smoke coming from a chicken cooler.

Flowers set the fire and hosed down the chicken cooler, police say. However, his actions were not caught on video, according to police.

I would hope part of the agreement would be to give Morgan's family closure by devulging where he put her remains. Sad sad story of a young girl victimized by someone you can't even refer to as a man because he would have stepped up instead of killing her and the unborn child to save himself

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) – St. Petersburg police detectives recently got a break in a 10-year old murder case, and it came by way of a guilty plea.

On March 31, Jacobee Flowers pleaded guilty to a second-degree murder charge. As part of the agreement, he will serve 25 years in prison if authorities find Morgan Martin’s remains, or 40 years in prison if her remains are not found.

After pleading to the second-degree murder charge, he told police detectives they could find Martin’s remains in a field in Pike County, Alabama.

Detectives from the St. Petersburg Police Department have been there all week. Yolanda Fernandez, a spokesperson for the department, says so far they haven’t found anything.
