Didn't at all mean to discount the fear and pain of the victims and those around them - and they will have emotion repercussions as well. :(

After reading about MM and the great mental anguish and confusion he was enduring, one cannot help but feel sorry for him and for all his family and friends who now have to live with the knowledge of what he had done and possibly intended to do.
Thank goodness more people were not hurt. imo.

This young man is a hero, imo.
    rbbm.
"Ronny was the first student shot, but despite his wounds was able to alert authorities in time for them to subdue his attacker,"

Roberts said Ahmed had sustained injuries to the spinal cord, arm and chest.

"He continues to hold strong in the ICU, but has been paralyzed from the waist down, and unfortunately is not expected to walk again," he wrote".

FSU's Strozier Library Shooter: A look inside Myron May's inner turmoil

Colleagues and acquaintances paint a complex portrait of a man who had succeeded beyond expectations from humble beginnings as a teen in Wewahitchka, but was derailed by mental illness and paranoia.
Interesting article. One can readily see his decline & apparent misdiagnosis.
