If this thread is already somewhere let me know? I can't find it.. More details..

    APOPKA, Fla. —

At New Vision Community outside Apopka, the quiet work of the church and seminary continues under the image of light while a shadow of unnerving questions still looms from a murder investigation that began nearby.

Several days after the bodies of two women were found on the church's property, detectives are still working to answer why they were killed and who is behind it.

Only one of the victims has been identified, Kristina Upchurch. She was 34 years old.

As work continues to identify the other woman found there, a report from the Sheriff's Office gives a glimpse at how the homicide case started.

The document describes how landscapers, a father and son team who tend to the property, first made a gruesome discovery.

The father and son were working on the church's lawn as they usually do, according to an incident report, and as they mowed toward the end of the property toward a tree line, they noticed a blue tarp set at the edge of it. The tarp seemed amiss immediately, so they stopped their work to see what it was and why it was there.

The Sheriff's Office report notes the men saw one of the bodies when they peered behind the tarp used to shroud it. They told deputies they immediately told church staff members, who then called 911.

Now several days after this 40-acre plot was scoured for clues, deputies haven't said how the women were killed or what, if any, leads have materialized toward possible motives or suspects.

As their investigation first began, deputies said the victims' bodies did show some signs of decomposition. So far, no timeline has emerged detailing when the killings took place.

Deputies are asking anyone with information to contact the Sheriff's Office or call Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS.

What an odd case and unusual circumstances. Two women. A blue tarp covering them? Was that part of the landscapers equipment or supplies or was it brought by whoever placed the bodies there? It sounds like it was brought there. If it was random or robbery/drug deal gone bad, it seems unlikely a tarp would be used. Anything know about the identified victim - occupation, marital status, family, etc?

Commenter on the LE Facebook suggested the name of a person who was with the deceased woman, indicated the named person is missing.

Hhhmm, I decided to Google for news re: that name

Apparently [Firstname Surname] was with christine upchurch and no one has seen [Firstname.]

I did not find any MSM or LE reports of this person being a Missing Person.

I noticed that comment, as well as another one that said I hope it wasn’t ....... with you. (A different first name and no last name shared)

I found the social media page of the above mentioned person and her profile pic was changed on May 5, which is after they found the bodies, so I wouldn’t think it would be her. But.... anyone could have access possibly.

Arrest made, here's a snippet, and the article:

"26-year-old Pablo Antonio Tavarez had been arrested in connection with Upchurch's death, and he's expected to be charged in connection with Evans' death as well.

Deputies said that based on signs of decomposition, Evans' body was dumped on Orange Blossom Trail about three weeks before Upchurch's body was placed in the same spot.

While the investigation is still ongoing, Mina said investigators believe the two women were prostitutes and Tavarez hired them.

    [...]

During a first appearance Friday on first-degree murder charges, attorneys said DNA evidence was found under the victims' nails which led to Tavarez.

One of the victim's drivers license was also found in Tavarez's vehicle, attorneys said."
