Robert Lee-Terrell Hicks was arrested after an extensive search by detectives, according to OPD Public Information Officer Sgt. Cynthia Barnes.

The survivor is amazing in that she connected enough to him that he didn't kill her like he had intended. I hope she gets the supports she needs to heal and testify against him. Wow. I am so sorry for her.

Thank God she talked him out of killing her. He will likely be out in 5 years. He will have learned his lesson and makes sure he kills the next one (sarcasm)

Wow…… similar hospital parking lot abduction and rape was reported two months ago – August 3, 2016 – in Canton, Ohio: Man arrested two days later.

Our security team responded immediately and provided the police department with footage from our security cameras to aid the investigation. West Marion Community Hospital will continue assisting fully with local law enforcement and we are very thankful for the efforts of the Ocala Police Department that led to the quick arrest of the suspect."
