Well, I just tried to google it. When I hear "cobwebs", I'm thinking weathered, dusty, outdoors, etc. But if there were actual "webs made from spiders", those can form over night.

One of the up thread MSM links says the car was unlocked, but not that the windows were down. I'd think cobwebs were formed more quickly with the windows down, but I'm no forensic biologist. :notgood:

the car was found about 2 months after she went missing.

I can't imagine the car was there that whole time... Could it?

JAN 2010- Police were called to Smith's home in January 2010 after Day showed up and refused to leave, a police report said. Day told officers that Smith attacked her while they were at a motel the previous night. Smith denied the accusations. No arrests were made.

FEB 2011- Police charged Smith this February with battery after Day accused him of attacking her in her apartment after she broke off the relationship. Day told officers that Smith had repeatedly abused her and had previously threatened her with a gun. She also said she feared he would kill her, records show.

Prosecutors dropped the case three weeks later, citing insufficient evidence, credibility issues with Day's story and her refusal to pursue charges, a court record said.

What a terrific idea.... bring awareness of Rosemary on her 2nd birthday being away from her family! It would be great if we could notify MSM, and any and all avenues, of getting her story out on her birthday! :great:
 
I received an enlightening response form the admin. of Rosemary's Missing Site...

The person stated that she found it not always beneficial to join sites where the Day family is placed under a microscope. I can totally understand... they have already experienced over a year of this situation.

But I told her we are a victim friendly site, that we will continue to sleuth the situation so that we may find some kind of answers for Rosemary and the family, and I told her at WS we become very attached to the persons we are searching for.

I further shared that we will be sending the Days love and support in spirit, too!

And.... she directed me to the Duvall County Clerk of Courts (thank you, Tarabull...:wink: ), and to type in Smith III, NMN (for Middle Name-No Middle Name), then James.

Here we will get a record for this man, and then we will be directed to everything we want to know about him!

Let's Roll!
 
Oh... and the admin. directed us to a mug shot of JS3...

"The article from the FL Times Union has a picture published by them of James No Middle Name Smith III. It is a public record and is a mug shot."

So... JS3 is African American..... DOB is 8/26/1963 (O/T.. but my daughter's birthday is 8/26, too, ugh!, but different year, of course)

I can only find one battery charge, and it was eventually dropped/abandoned.

And I searched the FL Times Union.. and could not find the mug shot of the bleep!

I am going to the zoo tomorrow with my grandniece and other family members... I better go to bed now so that I can be as "bright eyed and bushy tailed" as the critters at the zoo!

Sorry...I am here...Had a horrible headache last night, tried to get on computer several times butr finally gave up...Have we gotten permission to approach her sister? I KNOW she can answer many of these questions....but I just read the adminstrators response and the administrator was her sister...I am going to approach her since I have helped in the past.

I just read that and reread that....I wondered the same thing....ususally the sentiment is the other way around....of course, NOT that you want someone to be dead but knowing where they are....hmmmm
