    Such a sad case!
It does make you wonder how many cases could be solved by comparing DNA testing of unidentified bodies with family members.

not much in MSM about this case

''In August 2012, detectives received some information about the unidentified woman who had been killed in February on the rail road tracks and discovered the Medical Examiner's Office still had samples from the body.

The samples were sent to a lab in Texas, and on Feb. 18, 2015 - three days before the 29th anniversary of Setzer's death - researchers confirmed a match between the DNA from the unidentified women and the three sisters.''

"The missing person report provides additional details about why Setzer left the troubled home on Coleman Road in Winter Haven.

"As the years passed, they (the three daughters) would ask their father Jimmy Setzer questions in reference to their mother's whereabouts, but he would get angry with them for asking," according to the report."

"their mother was forced into hospitalization under the state's Baker Act and was fearful of their father.

The oldest daughter, Susan Peavy, was 16 when her mother was hospitalized.

She described to investigators the last day her mother was hospitalized.

"Susan stated her and her sisters and father, Jimmy, drove to the hospital and her father went in to go see her mother," the report states. When he returned to the vehicle, he was angry because the hospital released her."

"A week later, Susan Peavy received a phone call from her mother while she was in school, telling her that she planned to pick up Peavy and her sisters at their home.

"I am coming for you guys," Setzer told Peavy, according to the report.

That was the last time Peavy spoke with her mother.

When Peavy told her father about the conversation, he told her and her siblings to meet him at a park by Westwood Middle School in Winter Haven, according to the report."

"When Peavy told her father about the conversation, he told her and her siblings to meet him at a park by Westwood Middle School in Winter Haven, according to the report.

The father took the children to an extended-stay hotel in Kissimmee for two weeks. When they returned home, there was no sign of Cheryl Setzer.

A couch Cheryl Setzer typically slept on had been replaced with a new one."

"Al Smith of Bartow, the private investigator Setzer had hired, emailed Mickey Branch of the Polk County Medical Examiner's Office about a missing person case involving a woman who had been struck by a train.

Branch, an administrative assistant with the medical examiner, started investi*gating.

She said she noticed that investigators had recovered a wedding ring belonging to the woman on the train tracks."
