The defense had asked for a change of venue for the check fraud trial and it's likely that issue will be heard Monday during a status hearing scheduled for 1:30pm.

According to the Court, it is also likely that at least two motions in the murder case will be heard on January 25. A status hearing on the murder trial is also scheduled to be heard.

A plea deal in the check fraud case certainly could explain why the defense has not yet deposed the alleged victim, Amy Huizenga, and it explains why the judge is not demanding that the trial start first thing Monday morning. He was adamant about the case going on January 25, no matter what, and even mentioned a plea as a possibility in court during one of the last hearings.

&#8220;Would you be surprised if all of the terms were not hammered out before that?&#8221; WFTV reporter Kathi Belich asked legal analyst Bill Sheaffer (full interview).

&#8220;Absolutely. The defense in this case is not going to enter a plea to these charges without knowing what the situation is regarding adjudication of guilt,&#8221; he said. &#8220;There is some strong indication to me, from my experience, that a plea to these charges, if in fact there's an adjudication, may be an indication that the murder case may not go to trial."

Sheaffer says that's because the judge's ruling on whether to adjudicate or convict Casey of a crime, or withhold adjudication, would directly affect the defense's decision as to whether Casey would take the stand in her murder trial. If she were to have a conviction on her record, prosecutors could ask her about it and it would immediately affect her credibility in the eyes of the jurors.

&#8220;If this deal does not include a &#8216;withhold of adjudication,&#8217; a decision has to have been made that we're not gonna put her on the witness stand,&#8221; Sheaffer said. &#8220;It is very early to start cutting yourself off as to how you're going to defend the murder case.&#8221;

Sheaffer says, if the defense has already decided Casey won't testify at her murder trial before it's even been scheduled, it could mean there's a possibility of a plea in the murder case, too.

A hearing in Casey&#8217;s check fraud case is expected to be held Monday afternoon. That's where Casey will likely plead. Two motions in the murder case are also expected to be heard during that hearing on January 25. The murder trial is supposed to start this year, but no date has been set yet.

So what do you feel the chances are that she will behave herself in court on Monday? Afterall AL had to hold her down for the hearing last month. Maybe we should send AL some duct tape, you know, just in case.

There was the report from the inmate of drama in the "dormitory" last fall, there were revelations from Lyon lectures and her book, the play based on the case onstage in Australia, the two letters within the last month.

Could this be that any of the seemingly absurd info, from the recent letter, DOES in fact have some merit that will bolster the defenses case?? Or is it more along the line of the motions they have submitted for the judge to review via the hearings...change of venue, etc.

FYI: The Court Docket's dosen't show the Check fraud Trial canceled yet! Maybe just maybe the JS will not accept her plea bargin! It's NOT set in stone until Judge S does accept it!

I'm not 100% sure, but Adams, John H is a Judicial Officer of the courts. He is also the same one handling the hearing for Holly G. (Friend of the family to the A's & babysat Caylee...the one that was on NG in the beg.)!

I'll check around some more & see what I can find out exactly why his name appears in the dockets & update anything I find in this post.

This is the chart for The Team's objection to the jail preservation of records (video tapes without sound). The fax was time stamped. Judge Strickland will swiftly dispense with this because there are Cardinal (fast moving) Signs on all angles of the chart.

Because the objection was filed on a Mars Day in a Saturn hour, it is not well received but with a locomotive pattern to the planetary array, Moon as the engine, it does represent a legal effort from the prisoner. It appears Casey Anthony&#8217;s defense team is planning to bypass prosecutors and take its chances on a check fraud plea deal with the judge. Between an expected plea and trial delays, it seems like her defense lawyers are doing everything they can to avoid a jury.

&#8220;If you can't do any worse with the judge than what the state has offered you in a plea, then you can do better,&#8221; WFTV legal analyst Bill Sheaffer said Wednesday.

Sheaffer suspects the defense and prosecutors couldn't come to terms on the issue of adjudication, whether Casey would be adjudicated or convicted. If she were to be convicted, it might limit her option to take the stand during her murder trial, because prosecutors could ask her whether she's ever been convicted and it would damage her credibility with the jury.

The expected plea is not etched in stone. Anytime between now and Monday afternoon, Casey could change her mind.

If Casey decides to go to trial, it might start Monday, even though the defense has not yet questioned alleged victim Amy Huizenga under oath. The judge has said in court that her check case would be resolved either with a plea or trial on January 25.

A guilty plea could open the door for prosecutors to impeach any of her statements introduced in the murder trial in which Anthony is charged with first-degree murder in the disappearance of her daughter, Caylee Anthony.

"If you get guilty to five felonies and suddenly the jury gets the picture this person can't be trusted," defense attorney Richard Hornsby said.

If Anthony goes through with pleading guilty to bank fraud Monday, Hornsby said prosecutors can use that plea to refute any of her statements introduced in the upcoming murder trial.

"That's very important. Even if she doesn't get on the stand and testify, they already damaged her credibility by showing she's been convicted of a felony," Hornsby said.

"She has little to gain by going to trial she doesn't have a valid defense," he said.

The check fraud hearing is set for Monday afternoon, and another hearing has just been set for Tuesday on the defense motion to get more access to the records of Texas Equusearch.

Monday's decision by the bench on adjudication of the trial for lesser crimes as resolved by the prisoner's guilty plea being all important to jury's judgment of her character and of her credibility prompts us to review our own assessment once again.

Do you think back to the prisoner's inability to plan 7 feet ahead of her nose? So do I. Lee's characterization of his sister as pugilistic? The stunning sense of entitlement obvious throughout? The irritability of the conversations with parents, in and out of jail? The irresponsibility in general, and of the 31 days in particular, also seen in the abandonment of the car. The thousand means & gestures of glorifying the self-image?

I think Robi Ludwig wraps up the personality we are focused on very tidily though she wrote this two years before Caylee lost her life. Her description conforms to the horoscope of this prisoner, not only the complex of Mars-Uranus square Mercury, and also Sun but also the preening, prinking and entitlement which Jupiter returning to Pisces will exaggerate so that we cannot ignore it. Prisoner was born with Jupiter at 6° Pisces.

The Monday hearing, January 25, holds some answers for the prisoner and the chart for that is the above short cut. Since the rising degree advances (changes) faster than the Moon, she will shift further and further into House 12 and that told the astrologer that this Moon, which represents the activity in an event chart, will not be satisfied in her expectations nor arrive at her intended destination.

Eventually the activity will produce many changes, unwelcome publicity, a shaky grip on the matter and a plague of doubts. That is due to the Moon's movement in time into House 1. Legal experts believe the reason Anthony's check fraud trial won't start Monday is because they said she's ready to change her plea.

While there's no confirmation at all that Anthony plans to change her plea at a hearing on Monday, it wouldn't be the first time a high profile defendant surprised everyone with a plea change.

But does the defense really lose anything with a guilty plea?

That's not all expected to play out on Monday.

Sources said two different motions will be heard by the judge.

The first deals with the Texas EquuSearch group.

The other motion expected deals with Jill Kerley, an ex-wife of meter reader Roy Kronk.
