A court in Bangladesh has granted bail to a four-year-old boy who appeared before it on a fraud charge.
It's believed that Abu Zafar Al Nasib is the youngest person to have come before the courts in Bangladesh.
The New Age newspaper says the boy sat on his father's lap at the magistrates court in Bogra during his appeal for bail.
Nasib was granted bail in exchange of his thumb impression on the bail paper.
The court however rejected the bail petition of Nasib's father Zahedul Islam and sent him to jail.
Nasib is one of a group of eight people accused of fraud in a land related case.
