I think he will testify that the 16 cell phone exchanges between he and his former boss had nothing to do with the murder and were simply about mundane things.

After your first sentence I was going to say “Some things never change,” but the prosecution of the murderers is progress, as is the trial of the D.A. But true progress would be not getting killed running while black. I’m afraid I don’t see change in that area happening any time soon.
