yea, its been mentioned here in this thread (her adult industry occupation) it smacks of some type of jealousy to me too.

In the end, the lack of mainstream interest might not matter much.

The mainstream is not going to have any information on it. My guess is that the victim was deep into her hazardous sub culture and that this sub culture comprised her entire world. The murderer, and those who have information about him (or her) are going to be found in this subculture. They are the ones that need to have an interest in the case.

Every working girl in the area needs to be presented with information about the case. Likewise, so do the actors, actresses, production technicians and directors involved in the local pornographic film industry. This effort can then be expanded. For example, such people may favor a certain night club. The employees of that club need to be given information. So do photo agents specializing in sex industry clientel and the employees of boutiques selling stripper clothing.

Possilby, but I doubt it was a date if she was street walking. It is my understanding that street prostitutes loath to undress for their customers as it makes them vulnerable and takes time. Rather, they prefer to perform sex acts that dont require nudity, then quickly move on to the next customer. Even escorts may try to avoid completely undressing and instead give the customer the illusion of nudity.

As she was found naked, my guess is that either the killer (customer) took off her token clothing, or she was with somebody she felt more comfortable with like a boy friend, or adult film actor etc. Though a customer could have removed it, she seems to have worked as an escort, not a street prostitute. That could mean the killer being in a place he was not familiar with (motel room), yet still taking time to remove her body and then remove her clothing. I think this is less likely. Rather, such a killer would have left her at the hotel.

Then again, maybe she agreed to meet him at his residence?
I agree. She was apparently found completely naked. That could imply jealousy, or a desire to humiliate her either while she was alive, or to humiliate her corpse.

I don't know why I am struck by the fact that she was shot in her buttocks, legs and back. There is a hunch poking at me saying that this is a critical clue to SOMETHING. I don't know what. But it's really bugging me.

I get what you're saying. That beautiful butt is her money maker...and not just shot but PUMPED full of lead. Overkill. Straight up hateful.
It could go may ways if you look at it from a vanity point of view...a pimp jaded he is being cut out or not getting his cut owed...he shoots her to be like "yeah now u wont be bookin nothin will ya" OR could be jealous female...jealous BS's butt is better than hers. It's all about the BUTT right now.
However, if none of these apply, then she was just running away and they were shooting her over and over again out of sheer rage. Just some thoughts....

I'm sure 'no snitching' is in place here amongst Bridget's 'friends'. I hope police have gone back to speak to that friend who claims to have been with BS at 23:30

I am sure it is. But, I also think most of those 'friends' adhere to that rule, or don't adhere to that rule strictly out of their own self interest. If the police can make it in their self interest not to adhere to that rule ("The proscecutor will drop your pending drug charges", or "I will recommend that your probation not be revoked" etc.), my bet is that a good number will toss the "no snitch" rule out the window rather quickly and point the police in the right direction. The police just need to find the leverage. Actually testifying in court maybe another matter though.

Between finding Bridget's body, her car and clothes and then a witness before her TOD, I thought for sure this would be solved within a month. Now LE is probably waiting on DNA evidence from the car and clothes and that could take weeks, even months. If they get DNA it wouldn't surprise me if they get a match in the system.

She was such a striking young woman. Her life had value. She was young vibrant and beautiful. We will never know now what the rest of her earthly journey would have or could have looked like. She was robed of the opportunity to finish her own story.

Sadly, I think Bridget's demographics and occupation keep her off of LE's "high priority" list of cases.

We don't know that. LE could be preparing for an arrest soon. I hope an arrest will be soon.
