If they have good evidence. They usually will charge them to make sure they don’t get out under appeal on the current case.

I need to catch up on that , I think Bridgett's BF or even her might have owed money for something to someone and I'm guessing it was small time just by the guy arrested. I'm going to be really sad if its just something small .

I don't believe they are related. Jenna has not been found and I believe her disappearance happened in a different area of Atlanta.

A & E channel just showed a television presentation called " The First 48 presents: homicide Squad Squad Atlanta - Fallen Angel.

It is on this case. I'll have to check, but I don't recall the family doing any coordinated public relations and or interviews with the media to coincide with this?

It was shown as season 1 episode 1 for the series shown on January 10th 2019.

For those who have on demand, it should show up for you to watch.

I'm so glad this is being put out on mainstream for others to get interest for this case to be solved.

ETA it is following the case real time, (vase #16-152-0625) and it appears that this is the first homicide for the investigator..moo... deer in headlights.

They showed going to her mother's house and doing the death notification. And photo of the family which I had never seen before. They discussed that Bridget was living in her car and she had moved out because they had had a falling out. Her mother said that she was very close to her grandmother, and her grandmother had pretty much raised her.

Video of call with The grandmother.. was texted at 7:36 amthe previous day by her and she had said "happy Memorial Day". that was the last she had heard from her.

They are showing lots of beautiful videos and photos that I have never seen posted.

They then begin to discuss the r i p (radically invasive projectile) which we discussed up threads.

The team drives up to the boyfriend's house, oh my gosh! A lot of people live there and it is a Georgian mansion that I had never seen before.

The boyfriend said that the last time he had seen her was in the car a couple of days ago. And that they had broken up." And she had went off with one of her homies she met at the gas station. Exxon. Right there in front of Kroger. Her mom always kicked her out the crib, and when I wasn't cool with her too. That's where she was sleeping at, she was sleeping at a gas station."

An answer to detectives questions, the boyfriend said " why would I own a gun, bro? I'm a ****king felon. This s***

At this time, I do not remember. But the show is on demand if you have Comcast, and it is a continuing show which will continue with this same case next week.

I find it so weird to watch the first 48 and see this case. Nice (I mean nice in such a horrific situation, to put more faces to names and see the detectives)
I’m still surprised more people haven’t followed this case. It drew me in as my BIL is a detective with ATL.
So what is the story, I just don’t get why this guy killed her.

I so wish that local media would pick this case up. Vinnie politan is starting up with the reborn channel of Court TV in this town In May.

I wish he would get down to the bottom of this and get it more publicity because I believe that the folks who are on this case are admittedly green. (New to LE)

They're saying in the show, that they have DNA that can narrow it down to one family although it is not in CODIS. Perhaps someday we can add this to our thread we have here about cases solved through familial DNA.

Episode 4 is still following this case. It's showing a lot of information I never knew. Apparently they got information from her phone which shows that the phone went around interstate 285,the perimeter,counterclockwise. Attached is a visual from the TV show.

I'm looking at future episodes, and it says in 2 weeks that a DNA hit in the murder case investigation identifies a compelling new suspect who was recently in prison for a double homicide. Who knows where this is going but I am learning some things that I did not know in this case.
