Found Deceased GA - Lorenzo Green, 67, Savannah, 7 Dec 2018

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) - Savannah Police are looking for a 67-year-old man last seen Friday night.

According to the Savannah Police Department (SPD), Lorenzo Green was last seen leaving the Chief OF Love area around 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 7.

They say he frequents the Ogeechee Road area near downtown, Frazier Homes, West Savannah and Forsyth Park.

He is described as 5’6’’ and 180 lbs. He was wearing a gray cap, black shirt and a black/gray sweater.

If seen, SPD urges you to call 911.

We still need the public's help locating Mr. Green. He is believed to be at risk due to existing medical conditions and a Mattie's Call has been issued. He was last seen late Dec. 7 walking from a residence on Chief of Love Road. If you see him, call 911!

Elderly man still missing, two weeks later

It's been exactly 14 days since an elderly man went missing from his Savannah home.

Police say 67-year-old Lorenzo Green has been missing since December 7.

"It's very worrisome and you know and it's just pulling at everyones heart because we've been looking everywhere,” his sister, [ET] says.

News 3 has learned this isn’t the first time Green has disappeared but according to [ET] this is by far the longest. He moved in with her after he disappeared from his previous home on May Street in October. [ET] says she reported him missing. He was found two days later.

"He has asthma, he has seizures and he has brain tumors,” [ET] says. “He definitely can tell you his name, he knows his birthdate. If you ask him where he lives he probably will say May Street because that was the last known address that he really knows.”

Can’t get the Savannah weather forecast to post. There were several over nights with temps in the mid to high 30’s. Let’s hope he is safe and warm somewhere. There is a homeless population in the downtown area. I would look and ask around there first. Probably already done.

Savannah man missing since Dec. 7 found dead

A man last seen on Dec. 7 has been found dead.

A body of a man believed to be Lorenzo Green, 67 was found in Chatham County Police Department’s jurisdiction.

Police spokeswoman Bianca Johnson said detectives are awaiting DNA tests to confirm the identity. There are no obvious signs of foul play, Johnson said.
