His fb (last post July 2020): Marc Van Rysselberge

(slight correction of his last name - it's two words)

    Another article: 11Alive

He was last seen by his mother at 9pm on Jan 19. He was gone in the morning which wasn't out of the ordinary. No other relative has heard from him since.

If he's not deemed endangered missing by police, it's likely up to the family/friends to actively search for him. Instead of a missing fb page they created a fundraising fb page to raise money for a PI. I'm probably not allowed to link to that page. The page description* contains some new details about his disappearance. There's also another fundraiser elsewhere created for the same purpose.

ETA: *Taking into account other sources, it appears that am and pm have been switched on both occasions in the description.

I searched FB for Marc Van Rysselberge which showed a link to a fundraiser page that had been created to help with costs for a PI and other search expenses. Unfortunately, an update 18hrs ago announced that Marc has been located deceased. :( MOO

    Rest peacefully, Marc.

Missing Buckhead man found dead in Alabama - Reporter Newspapers
    [...]

Marc Scot VanRysselberge was reported as missing from his home on Plantation Drive in Pine Hills since Jan. 19. In a March 17 email, APD said VanRysselberge had been “located deceased” in Alabama in the city of “Huflin,” apparently a typo for the city of Heflin, which is along I-20 about 10 miles west of the Georgia border.

    [...]

Grant said that APD continues to seek information from the public about the case. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers of Greater Atlanta at 404-577-8477 or on its website.
