I don't believe any part of DB 's story.
    Poor girl!
    Moo
Post from April 9th states she was scared of him. They broke up several times, yet she seemed to think she couldn't do any better. Sad

Interesting, some posts from her Facebook are disappearing today. Glad I got screenshots last night!
Bad cat scratch! What is on her left cheek?

Oh and it was "her" gun, a gift.
"The 9-mm. Glock pistol was apparently a gift for Guined, Chapman*told the Journal Constitution."

She isn't old enough to own a glock.

Immediately made me think of Michelle O'Connell and her "suicide" (IMO murder), also committed in the presence of her LE boyfriend Jeremy Banks. There's a thread here for Michelle, also a Frontline episode and a shocking NYT piece.

Hopefully GA will do a better investigation (IMO cover up) for Nikki than FL has thus far done for Michelle.

I'm having a really hard time believing those cat scratches received from cats trying to wake somebody up...especially looking at the rest of her face. JMO.

Anyone heard anything yet? I'm so hoping there is a thorough investigation.

    In the state of Georgia:

Involuntary manslaughter is the unintentional killing of another person. The killing must result from illegal or reckless conduct by the perpetrator. The maximum penalty for involuntary manslaughter is ten years in prison. Involuntary manslaughter may also be a misdemeanor, punishable by less than one year in prison, under certain circumstances.
In any case, he will still be a young man when he is released. You are right, gngr, not what we were hoping for, but at least he is no longer in law enforcement. Hopefully this prevents him from pursuing a career in law enforcement, or legally owning a gun for the duration of his time on the planet. I can't find any information on that, but one would think so..........

It has haunted me. He was clearly an abuser and she kept going back. I hope and pray that the charges are upgraded. Someone removed that picture of her shortly after I got the screenshot. I know her friends knew what was going on. I'm not sure there's much they can do with hearsay.

Bump. Are there any updates? I saw he was charged with Involuntary Manslaughter, but was he actually imprisoned?
