Who would make her allegation up just to put a target on your back in a case this big, with all the powerful players involved. Makes no sense for her story to be lie. I also believe it was Leanne. I think she was following the boards and still is and she just had to make a few comments and throw in her 2 cents. We do not know what the FBI may have in the pipeline and she was most likely told not to discuss it. Who knows. Some probably weren't happy, some probably felt his "punishment" at the hands of the cops went well beyond acceptable civilized treatment, etc. IMO his being released isn't really much to get upset about. He certainly didn't deserve the brutality he suffered.

In regards to hawk, hes made no secret of the fact that exposing the corruption of SCPD and council is his primary goal. He sees a wider picture that he believes both exposing the levels of corruption and catching LISK can be achieved at the same time .

Where did you hear this? If it was from Joseph Brewer, then you probably shouldn't trust it. We may never know exactly what happened that night with Shannon Gilbert. Of course, nobody involved is stepping forward, except for Brewer. And so the only story we have is from Brewer. Obviously, Brewer isn't going to implicate himself or his friends, so he is implicating the driver (Pak) by saying that Gilbert was running away from him (Pak). Long story short- we have to take what Brewer is saying about what happened with Shannon Gilbert with a grain of salt.

Gus Coletti also stated that SG ran and hid from Michael Pak. I think we can be pretty sure that SG was afraid of Pak and was avoiding him. We also know that Pak was following SG. If SG felt safe with Pak she had ample opportunity to get into his vehicle willingly. The fact she did not, points to the fact she was likely very afraid of Pak.
