Gilgo Beach 4 Only (GB4)

I think Dr Hackett needs to be looked at as a suspect again. The Gilgo Beach four would only leave their cell phones behind for one reason... they were told the cell phones would interfere with his defibrillator. They were offered an extraordinary amount of money for their services, believed his story about the cell phones, and figured, as a doctor and one with a heart problem at that, he was not a threat. After seeing the clip where he is being interviewed in the parking lot and falls to the ground clutching his chest claiming his defibrillator went off I thought he had a perfect ruse to trick the girls. Anyone have any thoughts on my theory?

I had a very odd reaction when i saw him do that...thanks for putting it into words.

The thing here is when has a SK ever made a dump site that close to there home. I don’t mean in there home that’s different that is a fetish to some killers a fetish in the true sense of the word. Iam saying when has a SK ever made a dump site a few blacks away. In there neighborhood. Don’t belive ever this has happened in history. Now some could argue that is ocean parkway technically the neighborhood of OAk Beach, OB isn’t really a neighborhood like west islip it’s more like a few house by a major parkway. However I don’t think that’s accurate just a possible valid argument. I don’t belive a SK has ever made a dump site that close to home now in there home like I said that is completely different. And to repeat the above that’s a fetish in the true sense of the word,.

Instead, its kind of like hawk and i think it could be more like a ring of men get together and kill working girls. Maybe even make snuff films.

Well then we have to look into a psychopath where there working out a psychosexual issue have a kill pattern a developed method of killing this is the GB4 only so I don’t belive that is 2 killers responsible for theGB4 the Manorville killers sure that could be possible.
But serial killers don’t usely act the way CPH did. He has strange behavior but the social mimicry isn’t there I understand why you think that. But I think SG was a different issue she may have been killed but I don’t belive by lisk or the Manorville butchers. Now these people on oak beach CPH Burke may know something that they don’t want let out but I don’t think there the Manorville killers or lisk. They may know who the killers are though.

Agree with your theory having substance. Long island has a huge population.

Also keep in mind these guys where covering up parties with politicians and escorts so for all we know SG running through the neighborhood could have been a o **** moment for the community and people may have thought she was at a politicians party these a lot of variables on what was going through CPH mind when he called SG mom. I still want to know if he got the mothers number from SG or someone else.

If that’s the case then it’s pissible CPH was covering up for something. But I don’t belive it’s for the GB4 or the Manorville butcher Victims. It may have been for what happend to SG and her breakdown and covering up poltical parties on oak beach.

Well possibley that to but they have to kill again I wonder if Bitrolf is one of the Manorville butchers because I belive I heard some of the Manorville victims where strangeled

Serial killers like to visit their victims, like a hunter or sportsman looks at their trophies. Whoever it is KNOWS the area well and is comfortable there. He would never guess the victims would be found. It was a perfect place to hide a body, from Jones Beach on east, just perfect. Can anyone (ideally a local) tell me more about the geography of Gilgo beach? Is it an unused/underused area? What is the basic layout like? Were the bodies buried really deep?

I know they addressed it a little bit in TKS, but I'm just baffled as to how so many victims were dumped there without notice

Gilgo Beach is along a desolate stretch of highway (Ocean Parkway) on the southern-most part of Long Island. During the summer months, there is always bumper-to-bumper traffic along this highway (Ocean Pkwy takes you right down to some of the best beaches on LI). However, during the winter months (and especially at night during the winter months) the stretch seems like a ghost town. I would imagine most, if not all of the bodies, were dumped during the winter months, when there is significantly less people using the highway, which means less of a chance of being noticed / getting caught.

Additionally, most of the bodies dumped along the roadway were dumped on the north side of the highway. Ocean Pkwy spans the length of Jones Beach Island (a barrier island south of the mainland of Long Island). The southern part of Jones Beach Island is spanned with beaches. However, north of Ocean Pkwy is marshy, not as maintained, etc. (being that it is not as popular as the southern portion).
