12:24pm: Justice John Byrne has started reading his sentencing remarks.

"Mr Baden-Clay you murdered your wife. The murder was not premeditated, but it was violent," Justice Byrne said.

Baden-Clay is standing in the dock. He continues to shake.

I *knew* when they asked for clarification about the scratches that they were checking the legality of a guilty verdict with regards to circumstantial evidence! I am so happy they found him guilty.
