Anonymous Attacks Child Pornography Site Lolita City and 40 Others, Publishes User Names

"Anonymous, the infamous hacking group, attacked child pornography site Lolita City and 40 others in one of its most noble crusades yet. Anonymous hacked into 40 child pornography websites, including Lolita City, disabled the sites, and exposed the names of more than 1500 alleged pedophile users..."

    and

"...Anonymous attacked 40 child pornography sites including Lolita City, beginning on Oct. 14. The hackers disabled all of the sites after discovering them via an underground website portal. After disabling, they released the names of the individuals who viewed the pedophilia. The group posted a statement on its YouTube channels BecomeAnonyumous and AnonMessage declaring its plan to infiltrate the kiddie porn sites and take them offline...."

Here's what I found about the users and their statistics. Note that this includes the users' "interests" and the number of images uploaded:

    http://pastebin.com/u/opdarknet

    http://pastebin.com/88Lzs1XR

    A timeline:

    http://pastebin.com/T1LHnzEW

And here's a conversation between Anonymous and the owner of one of the sites. They don't seem real pleased. Warning: lots of language and disturbing content!!.

    http://pastebin.com/YHDnL3de

    A statement from Anonymous:

"“Our demands are simple. Remove all child pornography content from your servers. Refuse to provide hosting services to any website dealing with child pornography. This statement is not just aimed at Freedom Hosting, but everyone on the internet. It does not matter who you are, if we find you to be hosting, promoting, or supporting child pornography, you will become a target.”

I've seen some comments that the Anonymous "bust" might compromise ongoing investigations. That might be true and it would be unfortunate. However, I simply cannot get over my excitement of the creative use of these bright minds going after this vile evil. I wonder what the FBI, Homeland Security, Interpol, and local LE will do with this info.

Wow even their user names are perverted.

Exposing them is good but I would rather see them prosecuted.

Sites have a way of jumping back up pretty quickly, especially when they are big money makers.

Hi Missizzy this link will give you an idea of how many images. It varies really, depending on how many pixles are used per image. According to this link it could be like 1500 pictures per GB:

I am happy that Anonymous is taking these sites down, they are doing something great. As much as we could sit back and wait for LE to get to these pedos, why not just disconnect them from the internet world now, and everyday.... What shocks me is this,"" These sites were all part of what is known as the "darknet." Blue describes the darknet as underground sites that cannot be seen by search engines or viewed by regular internet users. They cannot be reached through orthodox means."" http://www.ibtimes.com/articles/235...-porn-publishers-hacking-hackers-disabled.htm

I have never heard of this darknet.

    Article about the dark internet.

    http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/2009/nov/26/dark-side-internet-freenet
The Onion Router, or Tor, is an American volunteer-run project that offers free software to those seeking anonymous online communication, like a more respectable version of Freenet. Tor's users, according to its website, include US secret service "field agents" and "law enforcement officers . . . Tor allows officials to surf questionable websites and services without leaving tell-tale tracks,"
    Anonymous is also using TOR

Hubby says darknet originally started with underground military communications

"On Freenet, there is a currently a "freesite" which makes allegations against supposed paedophiles, complete with names, photographs, extensive details of their lives online, and partial home addresses. In much smaller type underneath runs the disclaimer: "The material contained in this freesite is hearsay . . . It is not admissable in court proceedings and would certainly not reach the burden of proof requirement of a criminal trial."

    *******WARNING GRAPHIC******
The article posted below contains some very bad words. It also includes screen shots of the pedos. talking about little girls, screen shots provided to the article writer from the Anonymous group

"Lolita City is fairly notorious as a den of pedophiles and gets hundreds of thousands of views a day"

Hundreds of thousands of views a day.....
there is just soooo many depraved people out there... how can we possibly catch them all :(

    YES!!!

    Thank you Anonymous Hacktivists!

I don't pretend to understand any of the coding language they use. The pervert's screen names are outed but not their real names right? Do the hackers know their real names and addresses?

No, the servers that were used to store IP address and such and passwords, were too highly encrypted.

Anonymous rocks. I love when they do things like take on Scientology and hack sites like this. May not be as funny as crashing Habbo Hotel, but definitely more productive.
