Have spent a bit of time today on various graphology websites. They are astonishingly possessive of their JBR work and tend to charge per view and have major controls on how their information is used. I have e mailed the British Institute of Graphology to see if they will let us have their materials.

I could certainly see Patsy adopting the flourishes of European penmanship. Has anyone ever seen her '7?' I always imagine her putting a stroke through it in the Continental fashion.

HOTYH would probably see the writer as having been educated in a colonial school in a Muslim country (say L'Ecole Francaise in Algeria)....

PR and rn writer scores using Flesch Reading Ease program,
    http://www.online-utility.org/english/readability_test_and_improve.jsp

    rn: 66.01
    1996 letter:66.07
    1995 letter: 64.48[/quote]

    Shout out to the sith,

I found it a coincidence that all three samples would score at such a limited range within the 120 points.

I applied the program to 300 word samples from various postings on the JBR thread and found a greater range of scores of 'readability' among individuals.
