I think the words to that song are great enough to keep us old folks a 'goin on track, and more! At 61 I'm beginning to feel a bit of an upsurge of vigor and stamina and ready now to surmount any challenge! Ya Ya, I feel great.

I was too busy having babies when Bob wrote this song, and discovered it when a friend gave me a tape to The Last Waltz by The Band. When I heard Bob sing that song it stuck in my soal, and every so often, I find myself singing it. It just means too much to my life to always work at and appreciate staying Forever Young as we age. In 2006 I will quit smoking! LOL Seriously.

This Spring I am going to make an outfit, simple and a bit Oriental in feeling but with a bit of a scooped neck, and silk screen the words of this song onto it. It will be a Navy blue linen, and the block letters will range in size according to the words and be a reflection of the rainbow in soft color with opalescent glazes. I have it all designed.

If someone sees it, and reading the words upon it, gives a smile, it will be worth every effort I put into it.
