British Harry Potter actor Dave Legeno has been found in Death Valley, CA at 50. His body was thought to have been there days, 'in triple digit heat'.

Foul play is not suspected. Legeno played werewolf Fenrir Greyback in three Harry Potter movies.

Fellow Harry Potter actress Emma Watson has spoken of her sorrow at the death of 'such a lovely man'.

I am sooooo familiar with Death Valley! My dad used to contract work out there - in the winters!!!

Today's expected high is 122 degrees!!! They say he was found in a remote area - which one? I have to wonder who in the heck was in a remote area? Must have been a loved one.

Inyo Sheriff had more details about the location on their press release. I've bolded it.

Really strange that the press release was issued July 10, but the first media to pick up the story seemed to be the UK's Daily Telegraph, July 11.

The Inyo County Sheriff’s Dispatch received notification on Sunday at approximately 7:00AM that remains had been discovered in a remote wash below Manly Beacon, west of Zabriskie Point in Death Valley. The reporting party was part of an unrelated two-person hiking group. Due to the remote area, California Highway Patrol helicopter H-82 out of Apple Valley was utilized to insert an Inyo County Sheriff’s Deputy, and also provided transportation of the body.
The remains have been identified as David Legeno, a 50-year old United Kingdom man. It appears that Legeno died of heat related issues, but the Inyo County Coroner will determine the final cause of death. There are no signs of foul play
