The Solano County Sheriff's Office Investigations Bureau is investigating the Heather Hibbs homicide case. There is a $50,000.00 dollar reward still available for any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the responsible.

Heather Lee Ann Hibbs body was found February 10, 2002, in an irrigation canal near the intersection of Brown and Salem Roads, east of Vacaville, California. The cause of death, determined by the Solano County Coroner's Office, was blunt force trauma.

Hibbs was reported missing by the Vacaville Police Department on January 29, 2002, when her mother discovered she had walked away from St. Anthony's Farm on January 4, 2002.

Is this the place ? What was her PMI? 2002 WAS just shy of cell phone cameras as a day thing, but I hope people saved some photos at that farm. This case seems podcast worthy ,just based on the interesting people that should be able to be found to talk to about her time there and background .
''From 1955 to 2008, St. Anthony Farm sat just outside of Petaluma on Valley Ford Road. It helped hundreds find sobriety while also providing millions of meals for those in need''

I found a 2018 podcast episode that featured Heather's case - I haven't listened to it and I'm not sure if I'm allowed to link to it, but there is at least one out there...

Something I haven't seen in the reports till just now "According to Burton, the young woman stopped at the Solano Mall and asked to use a phone in the mall”s security office to call for a ride on Jan. 23, 2002. After that, there is no specific information about Hibbs” whereabouts until her body was found." Police would have followed up on the phone records and questioned the person right? Daughter”s murder remains unsolved
