He will only get fifteen years. And, if he is being charged just for the drug deals, that is fair, considering his many earlier brushes with the law. I, personally, do believe he has major involvement with his daughter's death, but this is not a trial for that.

I agree with Emeralgem. Ron and TN have stated that he trapped Misty and that he was willing to go to prison to find Haleigh. So he should stay there 'til he finds her.
But Ron will probably get 15 (when you consider served concurrently) since that is his highest minimum mandatory and they are all getting their minimums except Tommy, but IMO Tommy's attorney messed things up for him.

No matter what side of the fence you sit on re: Ron, no one can deny that at the very least- Haleigh would most likely still be here if it weren't for his actions. [Directly, or inderectly]: His choice of 'friends'/associates he allowed around his children, his drug use, and just overall lack of protection for his babies. IMO, Minimum- he deserves no less than 50+, but I have a feeling he'll get a slap on the wrist. Sept. 24th happens to be my birthday, so I'll be wishing for *some* type of justice for Haleigh when judgement day comes around.
Will Ron's prior drug poss'n charges and poss'n of narcotic equipment be read in Court and factor into the Judge’s decision? Is Ron appearing before Judge Terry LaRue? Although Ron was charged with possession of narcotic equipment and or use, he has never been charged with drug trafficking before. Ron was charged with POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE(MORPHINE), DRUGS POSSESS-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE WITHOUT PRESCRIPTION, POSSESSION OF NEW LEGEND DRUG WO PRESCRIPTION, and one charge of DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.

Because Ron's drug history is worse than Hope and Donna's, I think his sentence should be greater than 15 years. Tommy was sentenced to 15 years because a LEO told Judge Terry LaRue Tommy is a suspect in HaLeigh's case although no charges have been filed against him. Rightfully everyone should be considered innocent until proven guilty but because of the overlapping investigation into HaLeigh Cummings case, the reality is everyone is a suspect until proven innocent.

whatever Ron gets, I bet it won't be anywhere near the sentence that Misty gets. I think she'll essentially be sentenced to life...& all for being a very stupid, immature girl. & an habitual liar. In court, I expect her to be called a suspect, just like her brother. I wonder if Ron will. But if Misty is named a suspect, I'd like for somebody to explain how they think those 2, together, killed Haleigh.
Thanks for your post, & reminding us that everyone should be presumed innocent, until proven guilty.
