I didn't see this mentionedin any other forums - but this was breaking news on midwest TV today at noon. They found a body (which at first they thought might be Jody Husentruit - but it wasn't) in Mason City, Iowa. Reports today show it is an adult white male body. They are treating it as a crime scene - here's the link with full information:

MASON CITY (AP) - The skeletal remains found near a creek northeast of Mason City were tentatively identified Friday as those of a Mason City man who disappeared in 1995.
Sheriff Kevin Pals said the preliminary identification is James Maurice Perkins of Mason City, who was 44 years old when he disappeared in May 1995. The identification was made using personal effects near the remains and preliminary autopsy results.
