Even though the substance of the cases are not related the two clients are substantially related.No, this would not be a substantially related matter. It is a totally different case and circumstance.
I am opposed to giving the accused even a whiff of having any excuse to question the outcome of the trial if he's found guilty. (Isn't that even why the gag order is in place?)
