The paintball gun incident was labeled a prank. Tammy had no obvious enemies. Having a hit put on her would probably sound absurd to her and to most people who knew the family. Her dying in her sleep could have several explanations. Chad was probably playing a grieving husband, accepting a natural death and acting hurt at the thought of an autopsy. IMO it was up to the coroner to decide. Did they put heart attack as her COD?

ETA: How did the co-conspirators know there would be no autopsy for Tammy? What if the coroner insisted on one? Did they use something that wouldn't be detected routinely?

Chad's "interesting day" text was unlike his others...

Was Tammy's FB post about the "paint ball" gun incident the kind of thing she would post?

The neighborhood is pretty spread out and clear. She probably would have clocked any strange cars after face mask guy ran away, even if she hadn't noticed them earlier. She probably could have seen him heading off--- if he did. And if she didn't see that, wouldn't she worry he was in her yard somewhere? If it was not obvious to her who it was, wouldn't she have given more information about the person- tall? chubby? lanky? what color pants? What color shirt? Hair? Hat?

Maybe she wasn't really worried about her neighbors. It could have been more of a "If anything happens to me..." post.

If anyone has explored her FB habits, I would be curious to know if this post seemed like the kind of thing she would post. I know most people do not experience anything like the "paint ball" gun incident. But different people post different kinds of things. Does anyone know if it seemed like to her to share a scare like that?

Couldn't the gun man have been Chad? Could he have then run into the back of the house and back out? Tammy could have said, "ha, ha, ha," recognizing his gait, clothes, stature. Then he could have been the wickedly sweet, gaslighting husband saying, "Of course it was not me. Are you sure it really happened? Maybe it was just a paintball gun." etc.

My first thought was if this is just for Chad, I imagine it has to do with Tammy. I am certain LE knows a lot more than I do about JJ and Tylee's last breaths, but I imagine it is still hard for LE to disentangle Chad, Lori and Alex's roles.

My second thought was, maybe it is not that obvious this is about Tammy. Maybe it is clear that Lori was recording a pod cast while Alex and Chad were killing JJ. Maybe it was clear that Lori was elsewhere when Tylee was killed. LE must have location data we have not heard about.

At first I thought it was unlikely that Alex or Lori had a hand's on role in Tammy's death. Then I remembered all of the cell phone information we don't have--Alex was familiar with the the Daybell property before Tammy died. And Lori's location information has not been released AFAIK, save for the photos to the cloud. I don't recall any location data for Alex in the month of October.

(If this post is confusing, it is because I had thought I had an "Aha!" moment. "It's about Tammy!" Then, thinking it out, it turned into a "Not so fast.." moment.)
All of these filings will be about the children's case, the conspiracy/hiding of their remains.

Lori's case isn't hearing any motions at the moment, which is why the judge's order only pertains to Chad.

Whoa!

Attorney Of Vallow's Third Husband Describes Bitter Custody Battle, Hawaiian Marriage

Some details about Chad and Lori's wedding:

Apparently Chad booked the wedding venue a couple of days before the wedding. He bought the cheapest wedding package. He and Lori never mentioned religion or their children to the minister who married them, so he assumed that they were New Agers. Lori mentioned multiple times that Chad was a famous author. After learning about the missing kids the minister needed extensive therapy.

There’s several theories I’ve been pondering: writing a book (another poster shared this idea and I think it’s more than plausible), working on a plea deal, coming up with alibis, reviewing evidence together (there’s a whole boat load and then some, they may never get through it all), meeting via zoom together with other experts (they’ve hired out for other items like when they tried to get RW replaced), LVD needing/wanting extra company/reassurance, trying to convince MM that it was all CD fault and LVD knew nothing about it.

All jmo moo imo, any explanation could be possible at this point. But I agree that it’s a lot of excess time to visit.

Doesn't he live like 4 hours away? Does he stay in Rexburg all week and go home on the weekends? And then vacations in Rexburg too? I feel like I would want to not even hear the name "Rexburg" in my free time. Jmo

Yes about 4 hrs from here. I posted about this last summer I think o_O sorry trying to keep us from going too far off the path.

And that's a very good reason for him and JP to carpool when possible. Although their conversations during those long rides must be interesting. Compartmentalization is a useful skill. :)

Actually, a lot of the information about LVD would be "attorney client" privilege conversation. MM better not share that with his wife!

He could generalize what he did, but not specifics. And INMO, some jobs, it is better to leave the work at the office.

Agreed - that's why I added about not doing a debrief, but just decompressing.

One can offload a lot of stress, annoyance, or – in the case of attorneys – some possible unease over a case or client simply by laughing about the absurdities of one's day in a general way with a partner or other trusted confidant. With a client like LVD, and a case with the grotesque specifics of this one, MM and JP and RW all probably need that sort of understanding outlet. (And their significant others may well need the confirmation that they haven't gone down the rabbit hole!) There's no need to reveal privileged info to convey "these people are a piece of work" and offer a non-confidential example of interaction – if that is, in fact, how Means or Prior or Wood view their conversations or court interactions with Chad, Lori, and much of the witness list. (Although we can only guess at how any of the attorneys see things from their vantage point inside the case, regardless of our view in the peanut gallery.)

Lori Hellis has been a guest on WS podcast, as well as Awen Rees. IIRC, LH said that she thought the reason that the change of venue motion was vacated was possibly because both sides agreed to a change of venue.

If a change of venue has been granted, wouldn't the prisoners eventually be transferred to a place within that venue?[/QUOTE

rhatsjust one thing she said
