wow, thanks for the extra work to provide this............ very helpful
BBM. It could have been due to their line of questioning and the fact that her home was being searched. This could indicate suspicion of foul play. Who would be the first candidate for a suspect? Even if she didn't contribute to Alex's death, ZP likely knew that Lori and Chad were on the run from police and she had ties to them. She might have also known about Alex's involvement in the murder attempt on BB. ZP did not want to be part of any police probe.
Could depend on her immigration status. Do we know what it was?
We could tell you but then we'd be stuck with ANOTHER person controlling the weather and who needs that!
Curious do we know she is an immigrant or are you basing this question because of her ethnicity?
I doubt she is an illegal immigrant, she was married and Alex took her name. She also held a legitimate job. Moo
Maybe he was buying something he did not want traced? You do not need anactual prescription in Mexico do you? If so did he see a Doc there? Thanks
... a lot of Cialis without prescription, perhaps?...
Anonymous sources have volunteered that it takes '16 candles'...that should do it.
Do we know what her ethnicity even is? Besides, I'm assuming, hispanic? Zulema sounds like a very brazilian name to me.
I read somewhere (that I can't remember) that she was not born in the US, hence the question. I did not intend to imply there was any problem with her status, but if you have experience with any immigrant community you will know that they often fear the police, whether that fear is justified or not. Many times it comes from their experiences in their country of origin. What I was attempting to point out was that her nervousness around the police could have been a result of generic apprehension rather than something specific to the situation. Sorry for the confusion.
IMO he and Lori and Chad were all hiding from police. They knew what they'd done, they didn't want to get caught and questioned, arrested, thrown in jail, charged with multiple counts of murder, potentially spend life in prison or possibly be executed, etc.
These people were not going about their ordinary lives without a care in the world.
IMO, going to an American doctor, who would order tests, possibly order him into the hospital, requiring heavy use of a credit card , etc, is not something someone on the run from police, and protecting two other people also on the run for multiple murders, would be eager to do. Harder to run away and hide when you're in hospital, for eg.
Being near Nogales, he could just chat to the doctor attached to the pharmacy, buy whatever prescriptions he wanted, pay in US dollars,, no questions asked, no passport required at the border, would be just waved through with a drivers license.
Just spitballing and maybe has been specced before, but is it possible that Alex's DL, etc. still read surname "Cox" and not "Pastenes"; and that's why Zulema freaked out at being asked to provide it?
For what it's worth, Zulema is a variation of the Arabic name Zulma, and is somewhat popular among Spanish speaking people. It means "peace". I had assumed ZP is of Hispanic heritage, regardless of whether she's an immigrant, because of her given name and her Spanish surname.
Nice, thanks for sharing!
Local update: MM was at the women’s detention center today
Interesting! My original post was deleted by Admin (because of “Broken quote” — I don’t know what I did wrong) so I’m glad you responded to it. Ours a different spin on everything.
Okay, I'm gonna need a box of those torches to light that many candles. I hope I don't have to watch the movie again!

Yes Chile, unfortunately I share a country with Zulema.
Chuquicamata is a northern area in Chile where we have the largest open pit copper mine
