I know, I posted this same case earlier. Although, I always wondered about the "friend" on the trip...but the difference in this case, is that JJ and Tylee were never reported as "missing". And Lori was deceptive, lying to the police officers about where JJ was...

Do we know Daybells lived in Rexburg proper? There is no Medical Examiner in Rexburg, ID, it’s a coroner county (Madison). Fremont County which is listed in some of the news articles (county sheriffs) is also a coroner county.

Unless the exhumed body was taken to the ME in Boise.

I believe this is going to be a more complicated case than it looks on the surface. The children's mother (Lori Wallows) recently married a man (Chad Daybell) a few weeks after his wife died. It was presumed the late wife had died of natural causes but was exhumed recently and her death is now being investigated.
The new wife's husband was shot in a family argument earlier this year:

The husband and wife are not cooperating with police and have since vanished.

Do we know Daybells lives in Rexburg proper? There is no Medical Examiner in Rexburg, ID, it’s a coroner county (Madison) as is Fremont County which is listed in some of the news articles (county sheriffs).

We know that Chad and Tammy lived in a house that was kind of north of the small town of Salem, north and a touch west of Rexburg and just across the Fremont County line. The address (202 N 1900 East) has even been specifically mentioned in some of the stories on the media.

Lori and, possibly after their marriage, Chad, lived in an apartment in Rexburg proper. That address, which I haven't got memories, is a townhouse apartment on a street named Pioneer Rd if my memory is correct. I want to say 525 or 529, but not positive.

Just got finished reading the Charles divorce document and while many things in it have been discussed here, the thing that I haven't heard before was that possibly Tylee was 'emancipated'. This is interesting and offers up some options for Tylee that I didn't think she would have as a minor tied to Lori. See below reference in the legal document which refers to emancipated minors (is this Tylee and/or other Lori children)? Its not clear to me.

I listened to the video and I didn't hear "Lori said" or put that in my post. This was GH relating Colby relating what Tylee said happened. Lori told Tylee to take JJ to the car so Tylee must have been there that day. Lori drove JJ to school then called 911 when she came back. Personally I cannot see Lori saying that but I can see Lori doing that, if you know what I mean. It it best to have the captions on the screen and read what GH is relating. His delivery is not great.

It has been discussed upthread that she could be emancipated at age 16 in Arizona. MOO.

It sounds like a triple hearsay, but apparently as far as the story goes per the youtube show, Tylee was told to take JJ outside, then heard two gunshots, and then Lori came out and drove JJ to school. The main point being, Tylee was alive and living with Lori and JJ in Arizona when Charles was killed.

Yes. That's what I got out of it as well. My problem is that it is X relaying what Colby said Tylee told him. It seems like weak evidence to solidly conclude she was alive in July.

I also wonder why that sequence of events would not have raised serious suspicion with the police. They would have talked to everyone present including Tylee and JJ and would be very suspicious of her leaving in the middle of an altercation and taking her kid to school. I think that alone should have led to a more thorough investigation.

No ME is involved with this case due to Rexburg? I hope the Press is on this issue and the FBI is also taking control of the process too. The last time this issue was researched I recall we learned that ID has elected Coroners who don't have to be MDs (some do have medical backgrounds such as nurses etc.). ME's I believe work under the elected Coroner and have medical credentials and certifications so far as I can tell from. If I'm incorrect here please repost the correction. Thanks.

Are we saying that Tammy Daybell was exhumed and her autopsy and associated forensic work was NOT done by a ME (MD with certification)?

As far as I can tell Colby was told to come there after Charles was shot. So I am pretty sure Colby saw Tylee.

The Daybell home is in Salem which is about 6 miles north of Rexburg. It is in Fremont County. The townhouse Lori lived in is pretty much smack dab in the middle of Rexburg and in Madison County.

Who did the autopsy on Tammy's body after she was exhumed? She was buried in Utsh, if I recall. Who had jurisdiction to do it?

Is Lori a good enough liar that she can insert facts and people believe them? Could she tell the police Tylee was there and they believe her because they have no reason not to? I don't know, I just feel like the last day anyone saw Tylee for sure is very unclear. Even Tylee in Idaho, did Lori say something that made it sound like Tylee had been in Idaho?

I'm starting to question everything I've heard/known about/from everyone in this case.
