MADISON COUNTY, ID SUBPOENAS: The Madison County Prosecutor’s Office just demanded Lori Vallow and Chad Daybell’s Princeville landlord, the Kauai Beach Resort and Kennedy Elementary School (Rexburg, ID) to deliver all records related to Lori, Chad and JJ Vallow.

For all parties, they have until 3/9/20 and have to produce all documents from 8/1/19 to the present.

HONOLULU -- Chad Daybell, the husband of the woman arrested over the disappearance of her two Idaho children, was recorded responding to an ABC News reporter's questions about the kids' whereabouts.

"Are the kids OK?" Correspondent Marcus Moore asked Daybell Monday before a visit to the Hawaii jail where his wife, Lori Vallow, is being held on a $5 million bail.

"I just can't comment, man. I just can't comment," he responded.

Then, Moore asked if Daybell had a message to anyone who's concerned about the missing kids, 7-year-old Joshua "JJ" Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan, who hadn't been seen since September.

"Just grateful for any support. We just have to wait for the legal process to work," he said.

"CHAD VISITS: Hawaii DPS says Lori Vallow’s husband Chad Daybell visited her for one hour Tuesday afternoon at KCCC. Wardens can hold separate visits when “high profile situation creates higher than normal levels of attention, traffic & security straign for our small jail facilities."

MELANI RESPONDS: In an explosive statement released by Melani Pawlowski’s lawyer, it states Melani Pawlowski (niece of Lori Vallow) does not know the whereabouts of her aunt’s children. Melani goes on to say her ex-husband has lied to wrongfully influence the child custody case and also blames the media for reporting “one-sided and unsubstantiated accusations.”

Melani then makes her own allegations against Brandon Boudreaux and denies being in a cult.

Melani also says Alex Cox was seen on surveillance video at a storage unit in Idaho on 10/2 — the day Brandon Boudreaux was shot at in Gilbert according to police. She says there’s no evidence she was involved. #fox10phoenix

Melani’s lawyer also says the media has reported false accusations of her ex. We have called Melani at her confirmed number before and she denied being Melani, then hung up. We have also called her lawyer. Also just reached out to Brandon for comment. #fox10phoenix

Via court docs, here’s the alleged text exchange between Brandon & Melani in October. Melani allegedly revealed she was moving to Boise. “The kids could remain with you in AZ.” Less than 2 weeks after shooting. #fox10phoenix

Remember: Brandon Boudreaux and his attorney allege Melani’s new husband has confessed to her involvement in Brandon’s attempted murder. So far it’s unclear whether they dispute if that confession has truly taken place. Gilbert PD not commenting.

he will not represent her in Idaho. “No I am not licensed in Idaho. I cannot comment on who will represent her in Idaho. My representation will end once she is picked up by Idaho authorities. We are waiting for them to make flight arrangements.”

Lori Daybell will return to Idaho after waiving extradition

[Lori] Daybell appeared for a court hearing and asked Judge Kathleen Watanabe to reduce her bond from $5 million. Her attorney argued that the amount was excessive considering her accused crimes.

“Her husband lives here and she has established residency here in the past,” Craig De Costa, her attorney, said during the hearing.

Kauai County Prosecuting Attorney Justin Kollar argued the $5 million bail is more than sufficient and noted Daybell has a history of defying court orders, including child custody cases in 2009 and 2011.

“Our position remains that Ms. Daybell certainly is a flight risk, she has resided in numerous states in recent years and is in open defiance to court orders,” Kollar said.

When Watanabe denied Daybell’s request, De Costa said his client wishes to waive extradition and return to Idaho immediately.

Law enforcement officers from Idaho will now travel to Hawaii “as soon as possible” and bring Daybell to the Madison County Jail. Specific details on the schedule are being worked out.
