Here is the whole 5 hours, for those , like me, who missed most of it.

Kind of glad I missed the early few hours, so my blood pressure didn't spike.

I am going to drink some wine and watch some of the defense whining, but just for fun, now that I know he is in a jail cell tonight. I wonder how his Bologna sandwich was?

Thanks, @katydid23!! I wanted to rewatch the Judge's delivery. It was one of the best I've ever heard. And then I just about broke my screen when JS brother went on camera calling out Judge Linn for "shaming" his brother, and Judge Linn was a parrot for the prosecutor, failed to deliver his own words! I think the brother said something to the effect "In 2022, we don't shame people." Well, in 2019 we also don't write a script to hoax an entire country....

I LOVED the Judges who speech, I thought he did amazing! Everything he said was a straight home run.
That being said, I reallyyyyyy thought Jussie would walk, because when he started to go into the sentence part he started with I can't give you any more of punishment than you've given to yourself. People laugh at you, you're the butt of the joke... Etc I was stunned lol, like for a narcissistic ahole like Jussie you KNOW he was FUMING under that silly mask! Fuming. Lol!!! I think the humiliation was probably worse for him than anything else.
But when Jussie got the 150 Days, then was asked if he had anything to say & he went with I'm nOt sUiCidAL & THEN had the absolute bawls to say I'M INNOCENT like did he Not hear a damn thing the judge said? No, he did, he just didn't care and it didn't apply to him in his narcissistic brain. I know that word gets thrown around a LOT these days, esp on the internet, but having lived with one, that was diagnosed one, I can tell you he has himself convinced he did nothing wrong.... Had he just given some kind of apology, I BET when his lawyer asked if they could postpone his jail start time, the judge would have given him that. But after that little dramatic nonsense, that Judge said NOPE. BYEEEE
It was a SUPER long stream, I watched the whole thing on the YT NeoUnrealist and that ending from the Judges speech to Jussie being led out in cuffs.... Made it All worth it!!!!
<modsnip: sensational/offensive>

And how ironic is it that Rev Al Sharpton is being set forth as a judge of anyone's character or integrity...

Why did I feel like this was some sort of courtroom theater? Completely scripted and choreographed by Jussie Smollett. The black power fist? I am INNOCENT! I AM NOT SUICIDAL.

After that performance, he really needs a straight jacket, meds, and the psych ward 150 days.

Well done.

oh, absolutely. It appeared to me that the entire time the judge was calling him out, he was internally rehearsing his dramatic exit scene, no matter what the sentence was.

And there it was..first softly, “I’m not suicidal.” Then again, more forcefully. Then again with a shout, and the raised fist, and the declaration “ I AM INNOCENT!”

I don’t know what I was expecting next. “Alas, poor Yorick” or “to be or not to be.”

He’s just awful. Completely ignored everything the judge clearly laid out about his premeditated hoax.

ETA: I meant to also say that IMO he was also sort of implying to the judge that if you don’t reverse this sentence, I could end up dead. Hoping to scare or guilt the judge into saying “whoops, he’s right, I’d better release him.” But this judge has been around the block, thank God.

It really was for the sake of drama. He thinks he is some kind of legend and change maker so he raises his fist like a dictator.

Of course he ignored what the judge had to say. He has completely convinced himself the events he orchestrated happened. Pathological liar and con artist.

I will never take anyone that supports this guy serious ever again. They are not in the game they are in for the people that they say they care about. It's all about the fame and fortune for all of them. The victims be damned.

I'm good with this sentence. It is more jail time than i expected actually. Plus, its just jail, not prison. Jussie doesn't get to come out of this and claim he has some "street cred" because he was in prison. Nope, just county jail. LOL.

Wow, just a few minutes in, but this defends attorney really dislikes the prosecutor, Dan Webb. Lol She is making the case that Webb should not have been given the chance to prosecute this case because the courts were supposed to go to non-profit law firms FIRSt, before employing private law firms. She is incensed because she contacted 35 non-profits and at least 3 said they would have taken the case. TOO LATE…lmao

It also cracks me up, that she refers to ‘the attack upon my client’ —AS IF someone really did attack him early that morning….If so, it wasn’t brutal enough to prevent him from carrying his tuna sandwich back home so I guess he was OK.

At this point, her client is sitting very calmly and quite stoic, as he hears one of his EIGHT attorneys, listing all of the systemic racism that created this situation and forced him to be at that defendant’s table. He seems quite pleased with himself, actually.

His beautiful, young, blonde attorney is scolding the judge, saying that 'with all due respect', he has no jurisdiction in this matter because it was already resolved earlier when her client paid the 10k fine and did 15 hours of community service speaking to a summer school class. And the Special Prosecutor should have never been appointed and had no standing in the case either, so this trial was moot, and means nothing. Smollett was already granted immunity so the trial is nullified. Somehow, I doubt this judge will accept that.

There she goes again …” After the January 19th ATTACK UPON HIM.’ Lmao….does she not understand how awkward that is for her to pretend he was attacked that night?
