    Yes, NAMUS takes an extremely long time to update. She was on NCMEC and is no longer there which indicates she was found.

    There are 3 people from Illinois that I know of that are still on NAMUS and were found months and months ago.

    MPAN links to the NCMEC article for Jamekah here: Missing Person Awareness Network NFP

    If you go to that link: http://api.missingkids.org/poster/NCMC/1335398/1

    It no longer exists. They remove them when they are found. We have no way of knowing if she was found safe or not.

    @oceanverde

    Welcome to WS!
    As Namus is still up and linked here we will wait for them to update prior removing. It is fine to see NCMC updated and we consider this regularly, but both sources are valid.

    However, if you find a dedicated msm or le "found" information, this can be taken into account instead.

    Unfortunately, there isn't always a media article when someone is found. I did look. If both sources are valid, then why isn't NCMEC enough? That is very confusing.
