Interesting - this article states Angela gave the police the details regarding Nodarse and the blue BMW. Before they said none of the survivors saw anything - just heard shots. It's looking like the ex BF hired this to kill her and her family. So sad.

This article states AK was the only survivor, but it was reported many times yesterday that an older son was found escaping out of his basement bedroom window when police arrived:
"The couple's 29-year-old son, Anthony, was climbing out the window of his basement bedroom when police arrived, investigators said."

This article does not appear to be from a reputable source. The grammar is all over the place and it says Nodarse was found guilty of the murders.

March 3, 2010 (DARIEN, Ill.) (WLS) -- The man police called a prime suspect in the shooting deaths of three family members in Darien is scheduled to appear in court Thursday morning in Florida.

Authorities found 23-year-old Jacob Nodarse was found in Lehigh Acres, Fla., near Fort Myers Wednesday afternoon.

The Daily Herald is also reporting that another suspect is in custody. He is 25-year-old Angela Kramer's ex-boyfriend. Angela Kramer is one of the victims who survived the attack on her family.

Police are questioning the ex-boyfriend but say that he does have an alibi. He was gambling on a river boat at the time of the murders, which was 3 a.m. Tuesday.

Convenient alibi. Casinos with their security cameras, happens to be 3am when it is probably less busy, then he calls to check on her the next day...

I wonder if anyone told him your alibi does not matter on a CONSPIRACY charge.

Claims Nodarse gave full confession, also items found in dumpster in Indiana.

The prime suspect in the slayings of three people in Darien has given a full confession, NBC5 is reporting, citing sources.

Jacob Nodarse, 23, of Countryside, was arrested in Florida on Wednesday. He appeared in bond court in Florida this morning, NBC5 reported.

A handful of items pulled today from an Indiana garbage dumpster apparently are linked to the Tuesday murders of the three members of the Darien family, authorities said.

Indiana State Police this morning recovered several personal items from a garbage container outside an IHOP restaurant located near Interstate 70 in the southern Indiana city of Terre Haute, said Sgt. Joe Watts.

“There are several items found that are important to the case,” Watts said
 
Off topic, but I just realized MK and I share a mutual friend on facebook. He went to school with a close friend's son. I don't know if she knows the family, but he has a "RIP Mike and family" message up. :(

The two men huddled in a Joliet casino for several minutes early Tuesday morning — a meeting captured by casino security cameras, the sources said.

One of the men, 23-year-old Jacob Nodarse — who has been described by investigators as a suspect in the slayings — was arrested a day later in south Florida and charged with obstructing justice. He has waived extradition and, sources say, is talking to police about the killings.

“He’s singing away,” a source said.

It's as if he wanted to be seen by lots of people, but forgot to tell his friend there were cameras. I love a stupid criminal. I hope they get them all and fast.

Seems like such a nice family, I read a comment on one of the newspapers sites that MK was downstairs on the couch because he was recovering from surgery.
 
I wish they'd release the name of the ex. I feel horrible for Angela. She will have the guilt to deal with on top of grief all while trying to care for her son and recover from such a shocking trauma.

I read the same article and thought it said MK and JK were in the living room. That may have surprised Nodarse and he shot the 2 of them because they woke up with the shattered glass. Reports are that LK was found on the staircase leading up to the 2nd floor so she may have heard the commotion and was making her way down to see what was going on and he panicked and shot her as well.

I'm also wondering if Nodarse confused LK with Angela since the moronic ex called the police to see if Angela was ok.

All so SENSELESS and so many lives ruined including their own!

And where was the baby?? If he wasn't at home with Angela and the loser dad was out plotting murders and gambling, who had the baby?

Yeah, I'm not 100 percent sold it is false. The SA says it is false, but he might have reasons for keeping it quiet.
 
Maybe they have them on video -- just not a *casino* video together....then the SA wouldn't be telling a falsehood, right? ;)

Two men were charged with murder in the slaying of a Darien couple and their 20-year-old son, authorities announced this afternoon.

Johnny Borizov and Jacob Nodarse were charged with the murder of three members of the Kramer family in Darien, Jeffrey Kramer, 50; his wife, Lori, 48, and the couple's 20-year-old son, Michael. They were shot to death just before 3 a.m. Tuesday in their home on Kilkenny Drive in Darien.

The couple's daughter, Angela, 25, called police about 3 a.m. Tuesday from a closet in the house, authorities said. Borizov is Angela's ex-boyfriend and had been in a custody dispute with her, and Nodarse had been described as the prime suspect in the slayings.

Throughout February Borizov and Nodarse discussed killing the three Kramer family members and Angela Kramer, prosecutors said. Nodarse looked for Angela in the house but could not find her as she was hiding in the closet, they said.
